Until we get them. As long as that takes. If we have to buy each entire set with two commendation crystals (which is what you get for being top 100 anyway) then that's cool, it ties it to the most similar thing we have in the game at this point.

They'd make absolute bank if they re-released the emotes in the cash shop. I wonder though if they have some kind of legal agreement with the people that make the statues though, not to do that. Although it's like feast rewards, if the thing is no longer obtainable in the shop/in the game, there should be another method of getting it. They even do this with savage mounts via Mog Tomes now (Alte Roite). Putting feast mounts as mog tomes would make PVP'ers have an aneurysm so I'd recommend keeping those tied to PVP.

You know what would be nice? If we could get the statue emotes with our subscription currency. I forget what it's called but the currency you turned in to the elvish guy at the waterfall. We haven't done anything with that since like Stormblood.

I don't even use a parser or any mods as I'm on console, but I'd like to know how I, personally, did at the end of an EX or Savage fight. They show how many damage you do in CC and Frontlines. Why can't they show that at the end of EX and Savage fights too? Or at least show us on stone, sky, sea.

speaking of 1.0 tattoos SE should also make it available to people BY PLAYING FF11 then they can have it in crystal bell. so that new people this generation will also appreciate the origins of FF14.

I think it keeps popping up because one time the devs mentioned considering bringing very old stuff back.

But the OP asking for statue emotes is absurd. That's for those who buy physical merch. Just. No.

Yeah, wish achievement point system would be more fleshed out. Lots of people doing it, but they don't really have a way to display it. Like the rewards from that NPC are not tied to any specific point rating, why not unlock an armor set or mount at 10k or 20k or 30k etc. It was popular system in guild wars 2 I think.

The part you mean was a flaw in the translation of the live letter, they meant series rewards, not old feast rewards. They re released old series rewards now, which was like they announced - something like "no time pressure, it will come again"

That will probably never happen as long as they can charge $300+ for some low quality statues that they make for less than $50.

Honestly it just boils down to FOMO is bad, often manipulative, and always feels unfair to people later. There's also the inconsistent messaging from the devs on other items. Veteran Rewards was a thing. People would buy up 3 month game cards just to use them to get sub days logged to get items earlier. Then they say "people complained it took too long to get rewards so we're just putting them all on the achievement vendor."

They gave out the 1.23 earring for The Rising that one year and that made a lot of people mad too, and that was just a freaking earring. Tattoo, Veteran Chocobo, and Dalamud Horn are the only things left to 1.0 players and as a 1.0 player I don't care if they let everyone have them. If anything it would be throwing a bone to all the weirdos that just lost their Mare stuff lol.

Shush! Do not bring XI into this cesspit. The last thing I want is SE to get desperate and do something dumb with FFXI. I'm already a bit nervous considering that some "influencers" are talking about it because of the current raid tier.

agree. but it's better to just be sold as WOLF COLLARS same with the hellhound weapons. make it like 50 wolf collars per coffer and the mounts.
