The main problems of FFXIV

not possible in a game like final with the community, or better said in a MMORPG

What do you expect that the Dev do? They bring the same amount Content even if its the same Formula then other MMOs do, why are people not happy here but in other games they are?


People refuses to raid, people refuses to do extreme trials, people refuses to even do DUNGEONS at this point because the dungeons are too "hard"

We get 24 Raids (Normal + Savage)
3 Alliance Raids
I think around 9-10 Dungeons
We got this Expansion a Chaos Raid, a new Exploration Zone and a Raid for it
We got Cosmic Exploration
We get a Deep Dungeon
We get Variant Dungeons again
We have our 3 Beasttribes

so far on, we got more as enough Content the Issue is PLAYERBASED because if i would refuse to do half of the Content of course i would be bored but People need to understand Gear Progression and Endgame is always based on RAIDS and CHALLENGES, there is not one MMO out there without Raids oh wait, there is Runescape but yea then maybe just go play Runescape?

And even if its the same Formula all the time why complain about it if you dont even do the Content ?

Perhaps you should be actually happy people still care, because in SE's famous words, it's when people stop caring and just leave silently that the problems actually start to become an emergency.

Personally I do the content at least once and I try it. Then I give my opinion, which has gotten more and more negative over the years. Then I get told to just leave the game if I don't enjoy it (which I'll eventually do when there is literally nothing left that I do enjoy for sure). And when I don't enjoy something I stop engaging with it, quickly rejoining the ranks of people that don't play the content. I've stopped raiding because fuck what pve has become, I've stopped running dungeons lately almost to an absolute minimal degree (I have yet to run the new dungeon or trial even a second time). Now that I'm a casual I wanted to augment my tome gear by doing alliance raids weekly but even this I can't be arsed to do anymore. They suck.

What do you want me to do, lose my mind running brainless slop like fate or hunt trains or spend my time in excruciatingly painful saucer minigames because that's content too by the way? wHy aM i nOt eNgAgInG wItH fIsHiNg all my life??

Then we go back to square 1 where people just leave the game. Do you realize that once they have all left you're the one left sinking with the boat right?

The fact is, FFXIV can’t bend to every whim, no matter how much we might wish it could. And maybe that’s okay — maybe it’s just run its course for certain people, and that’s fine.

Keep telling yourself this while the subs are dropping. We'll see where it goes.

But if Yoshida is serious about steering back to something new, not only about new DT content but 8.0, then we'll see I guess? Kinda sick to constantly be promised change but nothing ever happens though.

I'm not totally sure what you're trying to say at this point. We should just shut up and leave when we're not happy with something we pay for? I mean, if it works for you, that's fine I guess? I'm not going to do a seizure if they don't listen to my feedback. But I still care enough to give it.
