I think you might be overlooking that FF14 already has a housemate system.
You can share your house with up to three other friends as tenants, which basically covers the idea of co-ownership.
Therefore, I don’t quite understand the purpose of this “Airbnb” housing system you suggested.
So they pay you rent duh. It also stop auto demo for when you want to take a break and not worry about logging in every 2 weeks to dust your floors and allow them to completely change your design to however they see fit. It's "their" house.

I applaud the creativity, I do, but I think it could lead to a lot of problems and/or unforeseen issues…
You’re the owner, you get rent, great! But if you’re a tenant, what’s to stop the owner from kicking you out whenever they feel like it? All they have to do is remove you as a tenant. And what happens to the furnishings in that case, since anyone in the house can add furniture or remove it if the permission setting is ticked. If your tenancy ends for whatever reason, and you didn’t get your stuff first, it’s gone!
Now to have someone rent, you would have to allow them to place furnishings. What if the owner then removes that permission after the tenant has added their stuff, essentially enabling them to steal all their furnishings! The “binding” status that prevents you from trading items you’ve already placed does not apply to shared housing. It’s how people can trade items that are “binding,” but placing them down in shared personal or FC housing and having another tenant pick them up. From the landlord side, the tenant also has the ability to steal all your furnishings, whether placed or in storage, as long as the furnishings placement permission is in place.
That’s just off the top of my head, but I’m sure there would be other logistical nightmares. lol

There are bound to be a lot of technical issues with this idea, not to mention the potential drama it could create.
Let’s not forget that real life Airbnb setups already come with their fair share of problems between owners and tenants.
Trying to replicate that kind of system here is likely to bring similar issues, if not more.
And if the main reason behind this idea is just to avoid worrying about the demolition timer, I don’t think many people would agree that it’s worth the complications.
