World of Warcraft x FINAL FANTASY XIV collab

Now this is what FF 14 would get

1. Lich King battle
2. Judgement armor set
3. 2 mounts, one that represents alliance and the other The Horde.. or a Murloc Mount
4. Maybe a minion of Thrall

I'd honestly be down.

I don't get the hate some folks have for WoW, and I feel like a collab would be fun.

Playing it for the first time with some friends and i'm loving it.

Well, considering there is also an Aerith copy officially in WoW... honestly I'm surprised SE and Blizzard haven't joined forces and done a crossover collaboration already.

Navia as a mch. Furina as blue mage. Kafka as sam.
The glam outfits alone would be great.

They really want a wow collab then we get blood elves as a race and wow gets miqote as allied race.

It would be crazy if they would do a collab expansion, where the story of the two MMO would interect with each other in someway. With what happening with both MMO, with inter dimensional situation, the void and so on. But that might be too big to handle.

This right here is the biggest hurdle. FFXIV will collab with whoever, but Blizzard usually only does crossovers with their own IPs.

However, Diablo IV did do a Berserk crossover recently, so that door has been opened, if just slightly. Xbox's buyout prolly encouraged them to branch out a bit.

As for what I'd like to see, FFXIV-side I'm thinking a Lich King fight on Icecrown -- Chromie (in Lalafell form) recruits us because, uh, some timey-wimey shenanigans happened and there's all this void portal nonsense, all the WoW heroes just... kinda died in this timeline atop Icecrown Citadel. (Tirion forgot to bubble and rez the raid, oops.) For rewards, a couple iconic armor sets, and I do like he Footman and Grunt minions idea someone posted earlier, that's pretty great. Armor sets for each type might be a bit much, so maybe just 2, one for horde and one for alliance. Oh, and Invincible's Reins, just for the memes.

WoW-side, an Ultima fight seems like the easy choice -- players pop into a "Void" portal and end up somewhere unexpected and have to fight a big robot. If they wanna get real spicy though, maybe have the Azem crystal pull heroes from really, really, *REALLY* far away in time and space to help with another fight, like against the Warrior of Light atop the Crystal Tower. For rewards, a proper Chocobo (with a /mountspecial "Wark!"), a Good King Moggle Mog battle pet, and maybe some of the iconic weapons for the fight (at least the ones that translate to WoW well; staves, swords, etc.)
