I always wonder for ppl who dislike ffxiv, what keeps them on the sub? Housing is understandable, but most folks seem to be here just to enjoy the wholesome and positive forum atmosphere.

Could be the fact that it's an MMO or at least pretends to be and people create communities over MMO's, and you don't just want to stop hanging out with your community because the person making the house you hang out in is incompetent. You wanna stick around for a while until the house crumbles or you find another house to hang out in.

Not everyone is playing this game solo and not communicating with anyone.
