You forgot to mention that your job is going to lose a skill to make space for the finisher action so it's going to feel even more terrible to play at lower levels.My predictions:

How I would do it, take all of the mitigations and enhancement (EXCEPT personal buffs), spell speed, skill speed buffs, mitigations, etc and then give them to the healers. Healers wouldn’t do dps but would augment the groups dps, mitigation, etc. this would keep healers very busy and dps / tanks could get a flashy new dps ability in exchange. Healers would also get a buff charge bar that could be used beyond the normal stuff to have a super heal, mitigation or dps buff, their choice based on the situation.there is really no pleasing healer base right now. no details on how they gonna do it. reason there doing it cause numbers are showing that. whm and scholar falling behind not just in healing but in dps. lot players specially scholar ones really want more damage buttons thats fine there shield healer. when they got gutted they lost lot who they were. however on whm I hope its the "buffing" side of things rather then damage like you are. whm needs more to do then just healing and damaging and divine bension and aquaviel was good direction but still needs more. they realise that. amount complain people do about both those jobs have been heard is known.
even if they do this they also know they cant make everyone happy someone gonna hate always tried make everyone happy in doing so prevented them from making any real choices when come class design. they cannot take that path anymore
i hope they delete WHM with 8.0If they take WHM back to being a real healer and buff job, I’m all in but if it goes dps focused, I’m out. This is the only job I play and if they make a mess of it, it’s game over. As to the dps it does, I don’t want a rotation, leave that to the dps jobs. As it is now, I’m too busy healing to worry about dps. I like its simple dps setup as I don’t like complex dps tasks.

Sounds about right.
Something that really needs fixing is the amount of abilities and skills, they need to simplify jobs, there are too many useless buttons that don't do much in battle.
