Look at the search on the top right. Type "Lottery" and scroll back YEARS! You all asked for this system and hate it because it doesn't benefit you like you thought....

How this would work you wonder? Lets make it simple for the laymans...

It starts with any player showing interest in a housing plot. Maybe a small near the pool in The Goblet. On a Large mountain side in Shirogane, doesn't matter. That player could contact the property owner and establish a lease agreement.

This Agreement allows the player to customize the house as long and however they see fit. Also! It would reset the Auto Demolition Timer because the house is being used by leasing resident! Making it worth while for people not logging in?

"What if I don't want my house edited what if I paid a designer to customize it for me?"

That is where housing glamour comes in. Almost like a glamour plate for your house... Worry about this bit later though.

During the lease agreement. The owner can it to however much gil they see fit! Its only right since you are using OUR property. But hey you get the house you always wanted.

This could actually work. Everyone wins with this in place.

SE would still need to ensure their cut. So the agreement is only VAILD if the owner remains subbed.

I actually already provided a solution, check it out it would allow permanence not more FoMo, not x days of 'renting' no need for glamouring someone elses' house.

Problem is the "Tardis" System is coming out. When no idea but when it does the FoMo is going to be 3x as high. Everyone is going to want a house so condos aren't even on the table. That post is a pipe dream. I am telling you facts. How would SE still collect all that sweet $$$ if housing is permanent? Everyone has to win here bud. Just be a good lad and rent my house now. haha (Joke)

I can agree with that sentiment, it took me years and a new data center for finally getting my dream mansion plot in Shiro shortly after Seraph first opened. It was my main alt I sent to Seraph that won that Shiro plot in May 2023 (I had won a zero bid Goblet mansion in November 2022 when Seraph first opened for best chance for any mansion) and my main in Exodus didn't win hers until June 2024. I have been trying to get a P60 mansion since Shiro came out and I didn't have the Gil back then to buy a plot when I had a chance. It took 7 years for my main in Exodus to win her LB mansion (She had a small in LB beforehand) and will wait more trying to get my second dream plot being a Mist 35 mansion. So yeah, it's not player friendly when there are people trying for years to win their dream plots and haven't. It's based on luck when I won my Shiro plot out of 45 bids and my LB plot out of over 250 bids. I support them upgrading Island Sanctuary to be instanced housing when it's already there and preserve the ward system as I love having neighbors. I would also support dynamic wards like WoW is looking to implement and while on paper, WoW seems to have a good housing system but we have to wait and see the actual results as I often hear that Garrisons were supposed to be much more than what it ended up being that led to massive disappointment.

Like I said, There was rumors swirling for a while that you could be able to change the interior of your house to whatever you'd like. Housing mirage. Check the search lol. The house of your dreams is coming fast. Sign a lease and it could be yours! hahaha.

good post i am entertained lol (still stand by my own philosophy an ideas of a private instance thats fully customizable an a house that can be any size of your choosing or at the very least can be made upgraded to a bigger house size etc. they missed that opportunity with the island sanctuary sadly but lets hope they take inspiration from it and expand that into player housing, fingers crossed lol)

The system works because it pays SE every month. This system would work because it ensures that. Everyone wins with this system. I'd be happy to lease my house out to any player. 2mil a month sounds reasonable.

They were talking about the interior walls / pillars and they implemented that.
