We don't use Asperger's as a term anymore, and it hasn't been a current diagnosis for twelve years; ironically, it's been outdated for as long as ARR has existed. We just use 'autism'. Partly because there just wasn't a meaningful difference between it and the higher-functioning side of the autistic spectrum, but also because Hans Asperger was kind of a terrible person.

As someone with autism, I also don't actually see it in Calyx, especially because in 7.3 we learn that his presentation is largely an affect that he'll drop if he's upset. He'd be a cartoonish representation of autism if it wasn't, but it would at least be somewhat accurate, autistic people who have a particular way of presenting that they enjoy tend to 'commit to the bit', so to speak; if he's decided to act like that, he ain't dropping it in private like that.
