Not 15-20 seconds between mechanics. 15-20 seconds MORE...There often is nearly that long, actually, it's just that people are not used to looking for environmental clues or at cast names, so they get hit suddenly and think that the split second orange telegraph was the only indication, when the warning was 10 seconds before. Maybe it's just an adjustment phase where players are getting used to this concept.
Is the plot really over ? What're we supposed to be doing between now and 7.55 ?
On a more relevant note, I thought the new dungeon was OK, nothing particular apart from adjusting to the strange snapshots on the visual cues.

How unpopular it was by the time they decided to change it shows that nobody forced themselves through itAnd yet they forced themselves through it anyway as-is on launch despite "hating" it and if not for JP players boycotting it, Square-Enix would have likely changed nothing about it.
I don't know why hardcore players in NA (and probably EU too) think its weakness or embarrassment to want something to be made better and will instead endure whatever in-game pain and discomfort is inflicted on them. What are they trying to prove?
It had a shockingly low clear rate. That type of semi hard field content duties has a small and dedicated niche but it wasn’t remotely embraced by the “hardcore community”. Maybe the hardcore field content community but they are totally separate entities
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

This is getting a little silly. Are we now supposed to each make a counter thread to say how we think the content is too easy and thus ended a 10 year long journey?

Assuming we don't go on a sidequest, 7.4 to 7.55 should be setting up the next expansion. Keyword "should be", as shadowbringers was more a global apocalypse vibe, and endwalker's was a detour over into thirteenth.
Good lord can they just make it so trusts are immortal and res the player in trusts so we can have content that requires some thought in the msq?
Then you can just let the scions carry you through the visual novel that way
No you're right thats too long. But even even if they could slow by even 3-5 seconds on some stuff it would feel more like casual content for me.

The remaining plot thread might just be another distraction to throw us off from what the expansion will be about, like Endwalker's 7.4 and 7.5 were. Or like how Stormblood's 4.4 and 4.5 patches mostly teased a Garlean expansion.
/shrug I love DT for some unknown reasons.
One of the silly one being I fall in love with every role quests NPC. (ok maybe except Tentoawa) LOL!
