As others have previously mentioned I think Trusts having an auto-resurrection mechanic wouldn't be a huge ask, but I think it should be somewhat limited ~1-2 rezzes/boss (and obviously the Healer/Caster would need to be alive for you to get your rez) to encourage people to learn the mechanics and not just have their corpse dragged through them otherwise they are going to struggle in more challenging dungeons/trials later down the line. However, I disagree that another difficulty mode needs to be introduced for dungeons, introducing an easier difficulty level for dungeons would require a lot of rebalancing and the devs committing additional resources to this would not be wise when there are other issues they need to address in the meantime namely the content release cadence - whilst Patch 7.3 has introduced great content there is simply not enough of it, this is where the resources need to go in terms of creating more evergreen or longform content...

This isn't a Forked Tower situation, I agree that Forked Tower should have had a Normal version for the more casual audience with less strict punishments for mistakes and less individual responsibility to act as a capstone to the loop of OC content. However, the difficulty of these dungeons like Meso Terminal is simply not comparable to the challenge posed by The Forked Tower: Blood or Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic). None of the mechanics in Meso Terminal are especially fast (aside from maybe the saws, into spike balls, into in/out and then second set of saws on Boss 2 for Tank) but people have to understand that you're not meant to pass every mechanic flawlessly on the first attempt, I certainly don't - it's a process of trial and error... I try to sight read mechanics and look for tells but I'm not always going to be right and if I'm not I note it and remember for the next attempt. I got thoroughly embarrassed by the lightning line AOE mechanic on Meso Terminal Boss 3 until I realised the tell was the direction the people were running in was the telegraph for the lasers and not the Line AOE that shows up just before they go off... If people fold at the first sign of a challenge then maybe this game just isn't for you at this point? There's plenty of help available from the community and if you've managed to get this far into DT then you should have the skills needed to succeed, after all there are dungeons/trials with crueler/harsher mechanics than Meso Terminal...

The problem is the people it's not for don't care. They're bad-faith actors because they want everything handed over to them. We call actual people "Bots" nowadays for a reason.

It's honestly depressing though, that people feel that they should get a participation award for playing the MSQ and not have to put in any work to succeed - I see why people sometimes refer to FFXIV MSQ as a visual novel in the sense when doing non-instanced content you're most often served the solution on a silver platter or the overworld enemies don't offer a shred of resistance... Maybe the devs have made a terrible mistake by making non-instanced MSQ content so insipid to conquer, it's conditioned some people into thinking that they should be able to faceroll all MSQ content and they get a shock to the system when dungeons expect them to do a little extra legwork... It's not healthy to cater to the lowest common denominator even for the MSQ though otherwise people just stagnate and never improve.
