Should I get the mog sword or axe?

also, warriors need around 400+ accuracy for most 'endgame' activities right now, sometimes more (princess). if you're under 400 accuracy and you miss, and 30 acc from mogaxe would have put you over 400 (assuming you couldn't just switch a ring to electrum)... then yeah, it's pretty easy to tell you missed because of your weapon.

For moogle, the 2 weapons that make the largest improvement are Axe and Lance, because these classes have naturally low accuracy.
That being said, any player tanking gets the added support of hp regen with every few hits that land on the enemy.

In the end its your choice, your playstile. I have sword, axe, bow and wand, personally.

But accuracy caps at under 100%, does it not? There is no question the Mogaxe will increase your accuracy if you aren't capped, but if you miss once in a fight, there is a good chance it wasn't specifically because you weren't using a Mogaxe, as you may have missed regardless.

I would get the sword, but I play paladin and love it. I've seen HP recover at 75ish HP and proc rate of 70%ish. And correct me if I'm wrong please, the faster swing = more HP recovered. This may not be the case if the axe recovers 100hp on average to make up for the slow swinging.

But as said earlier, unless you're just in dire need of a weapon for Garuda or some other fight, keep the nuts for awhile IMO. Sure fire way to get a duplicate drop ><

I'd say axe just cause the Garuda Sword is so nice.

The axe allows you to solo. The sword allows you to actually hit whatever you're attacking.
