Thanks.

oof you're not too bright. i'll spell it out.

"dresses, robes, literally anything of cloth (depending how reductive the person's argument is) are often a go to example of "feminine clothing" despite the fact that historically, clothing disproportinately associated with a gender in one time period, has been worn by other genders in another time period. It's almost as if, clothing isn't gendered to begin with.

Well, let me phrase it like this, if you have a decent pair of tits, a small waist or wide hips and ever tried to wear a shirt or pants crafted for the male body, you would understand that there is indeed such a thing as clothing tailored for male or female bodies.

However, we are not talking about real life. If you take a close look at the fashion in the game, it is obvious that some pieces were modeled on female characters and then adjusted to fit the male character model. The result is usually sloppy fitting, resulting in gigantic sleeves or unusually wide pants.

Since you chose to play Lalafell, this doesn't affect you at all and it is natural that you can not understand the issue. So, perhaps do not engage in topics that are neither relevant nor aware to you?

The only thing I find to be quite a shame is that we ONLY got the female dancer gear from ff11 because they're basing the sets from the alliance raid off NPCs. I don't even play a male character, so i can't really relate to the OP, but I would've loved the male dancer gear being an option.

tits, small waist, wide hips have nothing to do with gender? are you ok? everything you just rattled off could apply to someone irrespective of their gender. I'm Native Hawaiian myself, and I can think of some family members irrespective of gender, having a hard time finding clothes that fit. Corporations consciously deciding to tailor clothes to appease a certain demographic has nothing to do with whether clothes themselves are "masculine" or "feminine." These terms are arbitrary.

The claim was "I dont want to dress my character feminine" which begs the question, what articles of clothing are inherently "feminine." When does a piece of clothing become "masculine" exactly? masculine = guts from berzerk, and everything else is "feminine" ? is Griffith "masculine" or nah?

It would be a lot easier to make gender neutral glams if glamour was unrestricted! *glances at healers*

Okay. Whatever floats your goat. It's clear that OP wants masculine glam, if you don't understand, maybe the thread just isn't for you.

I am okay with more masculine glam (even if you fail to understand what OP means by that).

yeah I didn't think you'd be able to answer the question.. you made a bunch of claims about "male bodies" (as if this is some objective metric lol) and people with tits, small waist, wide hips all have the same opinion on clothing apparently.

how about not gender locking gear at all? or will you get angry seeing a female character in glam you arbitrarily associate as "masculine", which funnily enough, you can't even define.

I see, you understood nothing about the things I said and try to paint a narrative in which I am the evil person who wants to genderlock, which I have never said once.
