and most other people probably see it this way too, but I'm really hoping to have one of the few pieces of +3 gear left when 2.0 is rolled out. Yeah it's just town gear, but it's town gear that way down the line that I'll be wearing only to have some n00b come up and say "hey that eye patch is cool, where'd you get a +3?"

Oh I get that, I'm curious if they plan to even keep dated items in 2.0 though.

Besides I though this was mostly above materials and not items.

Would be cool if a community dev could let us know what the situation is with dated gear in 2.0 and whether we will get to keep it in the transfer.

That's the thing, the skull eye patch +3 is a drop, not a crafted item.

please no, if you do not like +2, +3, then just throw them away, sell them to NPC or put them in the markets
