They are probably bringing this up because of the datamined items that are very likely mogstation only.
The $24 cat mount and poster just happened to drop today as well.

Since they've taken steps to ensure any glam from Mogstation or seasonal rewards can be put in the armoire, it's not a wild speculation to say at least 2-3 new glam sets listed in Garland Tools are very likely to show up in the shop. Specially when they seem very "unrelated" to the content that we're getting this patch, this kind of stuff typically shows up there.


Unless we're getting yet another Rhapsody event or Noctis wants to take another selfie with us, the next seasonal event is likely to be Starlight, for which are two emotes listed and a handful of housing items. This is all public information in Garland Tools.


So yeah, unfortunately, those complaining may be onto something here.

We're getting another lazy mount (a re-skin of the Island Peerifool mount and all the other mounts that use the same model).
