    Motion adjustment on /think while sitting on the ground; Please don't

    This post is being made in response to the preliminary patch notes and in short....
    Please don't alter /think to have full upper body movement, it already functions while sitting on the ground in a way that is simple, inoffensive and looks good.

    Changing it to have full upper body movement, like how it is when done standing, will just cause clipping issues and strange/broken spinal movement (the severity of the issues will vary based on race/gender) and seems like a waste to do when again, it already works while sitting on the ground.

    This request goes to all emotes which are only head movement while sitting on the ground you might be planing to adjust in the future, just don't.

    Adding my own personal plea however...
    I love doing /think while sitting on the ground, I love that it's a cute little head tilt, I love that it's unique like that without being an animation that forces me back to the first sitting position or worse, being the upper body movement slapped on awkwardly, which is what i fear you're about to do.

    I am still upset about you adjusting /pplease like so, an emote that also worked perfectly fine while sitting on the ground by also being an adorable head tilt. I loved using it just as much if not more than /think and found it to be a charming aspect of the emote.... then you removed it.

    Me and a friend of mine like to to sit on the ground and use /think a lot and loved using /pplease even more, you took /pplease from us, please don't take /think as well.

    I don't want my character to twist unnaturally or break their spine or clip their limbs into themself or the ground, I just want my cute head tilt to stay. It can't be too late to stop this change before patch and if it is, then it is never too late to revert it after patch.

    ...Now I realize this plea is more of a rant into the void than anything else and I know this is something small to be upset about but it's something small I care about... and even if no one reading this care about /think specifically, I can't be alone in not wanting broken looking movements added to my emotes.

    Devs never cared for feedback, they'll just go by their intentions. Now we wait for someone to come and say that if JP doesn't complain then it won't be fixed.

    My hopes on this being heard are low, but I did not want to be silent on it like how i missed the adjustment of /pplease, so make a post I did. This change is unwanted and unneeded and i know it will look ridiculous once live, because I know my characters will snap into position, their limbs clip into themself or more likely, the ground and their spines will bend odd while moving around unnaturally.

    I also do not like what this might entail for other emotes like for example /eureka, will they adjust it too? Completely removing why it's so funny to use while on the ground? Just so you can lift one hand up.... while the other gets unceremoniously clipped into the ground. I do not know who, but someone must have thought this was better, for some gods forsaken reason.

    I wonder if they altered the sitting animation of /think, because it doesn't make any sense to make the standing animation. Miqo male, for example, actually moves around on standing /think. It wouldn't just look bad, it would straightforwardly look like a glitch.

    While I have a personal love for /think head tilt and don't want to lose it, this is exactly my other biggest issue, because if they don't make a full body animation then certain races/genders will look horrible and unnatural while moving.... Which again makes me question who thought this was good/needed as they would have to make unique animations for every gender of every race, unless they make one universal animation? For some reason? Hence why I feel this will just be upper body jank.

    Once more the head tilt works, I at least think it's cute and you can even play around with it using macros, like doing it with a wink or other expressions. If they go ahead and change it I will stop using it on most characters just because it will look that bad.

    Well 7.3 is here and it's exactly what I feared, thanks for ruining another emote for me! I love small and unnecessary changes that causes me upset! I'll just make a bunch of alts to see how it looks on other races/genders then never use it again, since it looks dumb on my current characters. Not like it seems to matter to anyone than me, but that just makes me more sure no one even wanted this even if they are apathetic to the change, maybe once some players with more lively animations sees it they'll dislike it too.

    Would like to stop feeling bummed out by every patch but it seems to happen more and more, doesn't help that the things I actually am excited for is still far away, so this patch really is just me having something I care about taken away... it will never be too late to revert but my hopes on that is still abysmal.

    Some of the emotes are nice to have but on these two in particular I 100% agree with you. What devs don’t seem to get… is people prefer options. There’s no reason it couldn’t be a toggle.

    The other two emotes adjusted this patch, /insist and /converse, don't remove anything since you can just go into group pose and turn on the lip movement, which is not the case for the head tilt of /think, so having there be a toggle or something similar would be great, as I'd like them to keep adding things not replace and remove things, that's my broader issue.
