I don't RP, never will, but I have to ask you, how is this the players' fault? Why blame the players when Square made it like this?
Where did I say its the players fault? The problem is that there is a hand full of people, a minority that takes their In-game Identity way too serious. Acting like its their IRL or something like that. Most players dont really care if another person can see a connection between the main- and altcharacter. (Maybe not here on the forum because here we are complaining about gearsets while also calling the dev's racist for it). That has nothing to do with being apathetic. No personal data got leaked because of the problems with the blacklist.
Im not trying to excuse the mistake SE did. It sucks that this even happened but a 2nd or 3rd reset is imo too much. At some point the playerbase has to let go and accept it.
