Whether or not anyone can do savage is irrelevant, what matters is that not everyone wants to do it, and those that don't, shouldn't be pressured to do it by content that marketed itself as a more casual experience.

I look just like the roes next door... if you happen to live next door to an amusement park.
It's really remarkable that some individuals continue to parrot this ludicrous assertion given the number of people whose own experience directly contradicts it.If they are dying that much then they need practise! Anyone who puts in effort can do savage. I used to be hyper casual and E9s absoutley broke me, couldn't do the first mechanic.
What did I do? I decided I would practise and come back in endwalker and try again. I have now cleared 5 savage tiers and 2 ultimates one on patch.
It just requires people who are used to having everything handed to them try!! If you people want to just pay sub and win then you need gatcha mobile games
But as SkankyRoe notes, even if true the claim is irrelevant.
I mean, I would raid (or, on more characters) if I could just matchmake into a party within a chosen tolerance of my own progress (per frequent checkpoints based on having personally survived through a given mechanic at least a couple times). I.e., if HEDF actually worked was intended and saw real use.

People continue to say this line because there are people with cerebral palsy or no usable hands at all who clear extreme and savage who prove it right.
All that proves is that some individuals with disabilities can clear savage.
You cannot prove a hypothesis "right" when it only requires a single counter-example to prove it wrong, even if that single counter-example is currently unknown.
It's like suggesting anyone can excel at theoretical cosmology because Stephen Hawking did.

That I think, I'm afraid means, that I can't hope for much from 8.x.
As many have now said. 8.x doesn't need to be good, it needs to be "knocking it out of the park" all the way from 8.0, to 8.1.x . And it needs to be for the people who are not happy, that's not the high end players.
That requires the greatest of passion from inside. I don't see how that passion can be there if they still don't think they owe a far greater apology for FT that for the mere delaying of the next ultimate.
Well done for the live letter I supposed. But the reason we didn't get FT normal, is because savage did get Chaotic, savage will be getting DDlvl100+ (and it won't be Ex difficulty, and there is a big difference)
An Ex difficulty dungeon (because it only has 4 people) should not need strategy videos. It especially should not need progpoints that the community will attack each other over because of disagreements over polish-practice vs mastery not having to suffer each other.
(Savage players please just stay out of it. Please don't argue we just need to enjoy something we don't, or should start playing games for reasons other than fun, like you. Your happy. Your not leaving. It's not of consequence to the game what you think, unless your argument is that the latest bancho figures are jut fine, which many of you do think, we already know so you don't need to repeat that.)
I do especially want to hear if many casual players do take the live letter otherwise, and read between the lines that CB3 agree they do want to be providing more midcore (accessible but still where playing well matters).
I have a feeling that if they could significantly improve the writing quality in 8.0, a lot of these discussions, especially ones concerning high-end raiding, would die down. Most people I know play the game for its fantastic storytelling, and while raiding is fun, it is not their primary concern. Talks regarding raiding are simply overshadowing the central issue of the expansion, and that is its mediocre writing.

What do you mean people are being pressured to do it?
I play a game. so not studying for a fight that will reward me what? gear that will be bad on the next update? and then doing those fight for what 8.0 to come and make that useless as well? like other then the mount everything else will become useless so I don't really see the point of doing those. If they are dying that much then they need practise! Anyone who puts in effort can do savage. I used to be hyper casual and E9s absoutley broke me, couldn't do the first mechanic.

I also am often off of static due to the time I can give to it since 99% of the static are when I sleep xx)
