Would it work to put in a bug report that the in-game eyebrows don't look like the benchmark? (Benchmark still looks fine for me, even tho I have supposedly the latest one.) And yes, this is what desperation looks like.

The current eyebrows are the same as the Dawntrail 1.1 benchmark, but they weren't bugged in the 1.0 benchmark. I tried sending a more recent report just about that error through the official website's bug reporter, but there's no way to track it to see if it's accepted or not.

If it isn't fixed by 7.3 I plan to make another report here in the forums. If that gets moved to "Working as Intended" again then we may have to push through with more serious complaints of errors not getting properly looked at, and unanimous community petitions not being listened to.

At this point I'd be down to crowdsource someone (preferably you, Tahli) going to FanFest or something and directly raising the issue to the panel of speakers, hell, Yoshi P himself.

I'm bouncing between races essentially having an identity crisis, not actually playing FF14 as much at all + I've played her a less than a lot of you guys. I can only imagine how much worse it is for other people.

Hubby even mentioned us getting married in-game again and I haven't figured out what I'm doing if this... doesn't get fixed. In general with FF14, not just about the in-game marriage. This and poor Thancred's face feels like more of a betrayal than anything else done in any other game I've played for some reason. Might seem petty to a lot of others, but I can't really get over it.

Bump with a story:
My husband is experimenting with fanta'ing female characters since low-level glamours tend to look better on females (purely his personal opinion and based on the gear he has, no offence intended).
He finally decided to try out a Miqo'te. He's in character creation. And I just hear "Oh no. Ooooh no. *Now* I understand what you meant." xD

He's been listening to me complain, he's seen the difference, but it just didn't hit quite as much until he had to make a character.

OMG YESYESYES T_T since the first benchmark I was so devastated what they did to them and with the updated benchmark they even erased a bit more so from nice looking eyebrows to ust sharp angry lines... I am still so frustrated about this (also some other parts they just changed for example eyes 6 had a little uplift in the outer corner - giving more of an cat-eye look and they changed that.. also flattened and widened the lips.. and the clan marks on the forehead used to be more pale than the ones on the cheek.. now they're almost bolder) but the eyebrows are my biggest issue ever since the first benchmark..

It's just something I won't ever understand .. how some eyebrows or even facial features got nearly untouched to DT and yet for Miqo Face 2 they actively (!) changed the eyebrows twice... Like..c'mon then why not adding more eyebrow types and leaving fine working eyebrows as they were.. for real

I agree, there are definitely other changes they made to the face that I also don't like including the eyes and mouth. But what they did to the eyebrows is just the most egregious, worst-looking change they made to this face. Inexcusable to keep it in this state!
