you dont have to read and post on the NA forums if you dont want to ^^ like in NA you do have a choice in the matter XD

They are groundwork for future versions of it too
once its in, its in and they can just activate it next year and so on

while not everyone enjoys them, there are quite a few who do

and while it does take some development time, im sure it doesnt take too much

At this point i would rather know that all time is being spent on the major content changes/additions, not little none essential events that will have very little to contribute to the game in the long run and very reward. Why side track for something so miniscule..... Focus on the big task at hand , stay on course...

*sigh* My bad for giving my personal opinion with some slight comic relief to this depressing thread. However, before i'm hanged by my genitals please understand I wasn't using the kid as the target of an attack. I also always thought the kid was just acting crazy(for whatever purpose) to post it on youtube(not that he had a mental condition).

When I read some of these raging posts(on this and other threads) the first image I received is that of the angry kid on youtube. I would hate to think these are actual adults raging over something so pointless. Especially when all you have to do is back away from the computer and go enjoy something else.

Some of you all are so bottleneck selected that any input you have has become bad advice to Square Enix.

Running a holiday event right now makes it look like the following to the majority of players who are on the fringe:
1. They're not good enough to release content worth paying for. This is our third straight free to play caliber content update.
2. They're dicking around all month long on these types of worthless trash events while they should be working on things that have been broken for a half year.
3. Square Enix's product remains a waste of the majority of its subscribers' time.

Doesn't matter what a small core of people who SE has hook, line, and sinker think. They shouldn't ask you all for your opinion, because your opinions aren't going to help them any more. This was a bad idea and will hurt them. And you all will clearly let them hurt themselves.

I know if I didn't play this game but was thinking of coming back, checked to see what kind of updates were in the works, and saw this ****, I'd just laugh and shake my head. April fools is a good day to wake up and see this.

Stick your all's head in the sand though. Maybe there's an egg down there. The majority of people who have ever played will just see this and say that it just epitomises square enix's failures throughout development. Here their game is sinking, and the best they can do is the worst quests I've ever seen, the most insulting agro icon in the history of the genre, and an egg hunt.

But hey. It's a free to play game so what should people expect right.

I've put Square Enix development back in the "they just don't get it" category until they produce something of worth again. And let me tell you, if you lose me you really suck at this.
