The main reason people are disappointed with the letter is because this is all we got, while Yoshi-P said 70% of the update was prep we didn't get a lot of info on it. I know they don't want to make an official statement on anything but since he was talking about endgame dungeons you'd at least expect to hear something about class changes or something else about the battle system wouldn't you?

Let's face it, out of all the things that could have been talked about nobody was expecting to hear the letter mostly talk about an easter event when there are 3 things he's been talking about but we never seemed to get any info on. We still know nothing about companies when they pretty much seem to have the groundwork laid out and then some, battle adjustments is a pretty vauge term so out of all the things he posted in that table you'd expect for him to have some of the ideas set in motion, and then in the 4th letter he mentioned something about "introduction of new synthesis concepts" which we haven't got anything about either.

So call me a troll, crazy, or whatever you want, but out of all the stuff he mentioned can you really blame people for not liking the biggest thing to come out of the 6th letter a holiday event?

I'm not saying we shouldn't be frustrated. I'm not even saying that Peregrin is wrong. The only thing I am saying is that the way he is approaching is is sad and insulting. If he had started a meaningful discussion about whether or not the Easter Event, or any seasonal event, should take any time away from development, the majority of the community would have responded in a much different way. Instead, he posted a thread as a butt-hurt troll who didn't get the right barbie doll for X-mas.
