thanks, its very scary trying to do it solo specially with no callouts and without knowing the exact strat the groups are doing, u have to kinda eyeball and know the mechs beforehand and adjust on the fly, 2nd boss onwards its a bit scary as solo because if u make any mistake u can wipe the raid or if u die u wont get any rezz unless the groups are nice and tries to help u out with rezz

I'm not mad at Yoshi, I'm not sure if he's the guy but I'm defo MAD.
We shouldn't depend on discords to play content.
Why does this content that people have been waiting for in months, maybe years, turn out to be exclusive to a system that requires EXTENSIVE preparation.
This is a game, not a real life job that needs a big commitment.

I feel the same way with the chaotic raid but at least that one has a way to PUG, albeit with SO MUCH HASSLE.

Baldesion Arsenal is the same discord requiring song and dance, and people still defend it to this day because it's easier to prog due to being able to PF for it.

I 100% agree with you, just look at all other big games they make it as easy as possible for you to enter and start fighting opponents, this is the modern day gaming lifestyle... discords should always be an optional component for people that wants to find more resources such as strategies, best gear, new friends or like-minded peers for slower prog, it should never be a requirement...

I also feel that FT should have never been inside the instance, it should have been in the duty finder alongside chaotic, with some form of prerequisite like phantom job mastery 12, since its meant for organized groups as the content requires strats for body checks, and the instance should have had a more casual-midcore level fight like CLL or Dalriada to make it a fun timesink for people with friends and relatives

OP did not reply to either prog-role ping nor personal ping on discord from their party leader to them. We decided to invite someone else, who was on the way. Then OP wordlessly joined, so we informed them: Sorry, you weren't on time and didn't react. It would be unfair if we removed the backup player now.

OP wished us good luck and left server.

i was also in the run where OP got assigned a utility role (geomancer), after marking it in google form as "i can do that, yes", and then either forgot or refused to place Battle Bell on our knight MT, constantly receiving autos, and decided to bell themselves, keeping it at 1 stack (and still managed to do lower output than knight MT).

and after boss enraged, which, happens, prog points are prog points, - OP mentioned in party chat, that this could've been avoided, if they were tank/samurai; an option yet unavailable in runs for safety.

so please, do not believe anything you see on the internet. kudos for the clear.

I mean, regardless of the explanation the fact that the system demands a Discord organization is a bad thing.

It can get hectic, it can get messy, and it really should not be the norm. Optional? Sure. The norm? No.

And this is on SE to fix, they cannot base their game only by how JP community plays it, given that they use PF a lot and we don't.

Even more that as spoken, and as OP spoken of being there 20min earlier, then obvious miscommunication happened here. Which, again, attribute of the hectic need of organizing Discord for 47 people.

Forked Tower and BA are awful systems, simple as.

The thing is, he didn't reply to raid leader pings. We are not mind readers, we can't magically check if the person is actually there or not unless they tell it in chat. Which they didn't. Also raid lead did give them reasoning for replacement.

I feel like OP just hid or twisted some info on purpose just to get a bigger reaction from people. It seems to be the "normal" thing nowadays on the internet.
