Some 7.0 MSQ cutscenes have been silently changed or removed since 7.2

I've just read in the JP forums that some cutscenes from Dawntrail's MSQ were silently changed or removed since patch 7.2??

自分が気付いたのは気球に乗ってヤクテル樹海に向かうシーンですね、ウクラマトが顔アップで目を潤ませてるシーンが無くなってました
選択肢は同じ「エレンヴィルに～」という2番目のものを選んだのですが、選択肢の前か後どちらかにそれがあったはずなのですが7.2では見られなかったです
他にサブでやった方の感想でウクラマトが手をギュっと握るシーンの回数が減っているというのを見かけたので、サイレントで変化しているようです
あと2段階追跡クエストの2回目の方が振り返る回数も減った気がします、マム―ジャ1回しか振り返らなくてあれこんな少なかったっけ？ってなりました

These are some of the changes (if my translation is correct):
- The introduction scene to the Yak Tel area was changed and Wuk Lamat's teary eyed close-up was removed.
- Some hand-clenching scenes have been removed.
- The second stealth duty following Wuk Lamat's kidnapper was shortened.

I'm unaware if more scenes had been changed since THIS IS NOT LISTED ANYWHERE IN THE PATCH NOTES. I also haven't seen this mentioned here in the English forums or anywhere else really.

Please, any changes to MSQ should be listed in the patch notes since this is really important info!

Have any of you noticed any changes? I guess the only way to check would be doing NG+ of 7.0 since some of these aren't cutscenes and can't be checked on The Unending Journey at the inn.

The thought of re-experiencing DT MSQ makes my eye twitch

I don't really care. Never doing that one in NG + ever. The core audience already experienced it, any changes are too late.

The only way I'd experience DT 7.0 MSQ again via NG+ was if we had the case of a dual-what if scenario joining Wuk Lamat or Koana's team.

But then, if that was the case, certainly the MSQ would probably have a bigger quality to what was presented.

If this is true I really don't like that these weren't put in the patch notes. Its small but thats a trend that we wont be able to or will be harder to look back on later when trying to evaluate things like quality, and the amount of content from expansion to expansion.

I have no opinion about those changes except to say I agree that any changes to the MSQ should be in the patch notes.

"shard worlds" was replaced with "reflections". The line "your happiness is my happiness!" was adjusted slightly so you may want to watch the ceremony again, since it's voiced.

Grammar improvements are routinely made. Nothing that you'd notice. This isn't exclusive to the Dawntrail MSQ and includes all side quests, especially blue ones or ones with important lore implications. Small changes are often made to clarify requirements to new players. These sort of changes happen in almost every single patch and are not usually mentioned in the patch notes. They used to reply sometimes in the Localization forum to say they were fixing things like this, but they still do it silently.
