To be honest, context aside, I can't believe how insouciant Takashi Kiryu sounds.Square Enix knows Final Fantasy 14 is losing players after Dawntrail and many still logging on are losing patience, president acknowledges concerns Yoshi-P is stretched thin carrying the whole Final Fantasy franchise

Additionally, Kiryu says he's also aware of concerns that Yoshida is juggling too many projects to focus on Final Fantasy 14. While the past years have seen Creative Studio 3 also contribute to Final Fantasy 16, Fantasian Neo Dimension, and upcoming releases like Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles, Kiryu says the work that Yoshida is doing in his other roles will end up benefiting Final Fantasy 14 in the end.
I mean, no-one should expect a corporate mouthpiece who can/will only say good things about his company to produce some elaborate plan outlining how they intend to address the issue. On the other hand his half-arsed comment regarding how YoshiP's "other roles will end up benefiting Final Fantasy 14 in the end" is anything but reassuring and stinks of 'trust me bro'.

You make that sound like it's a bad thing. If a corporation isn't in it for the Money that's when I start getting nervous.
I don't question many things about the company outside of what I call "Bad Greed", "Reckless Greed" or "Ignorant Greed."
People always attribute bad decisions to Greed in general, yet when things are good they just assume the company in question has no Greedy intentions. That's not true.
My issue is with reckless Greed when a company could make more money doing one thing but chooses not to. 7.3 will still make Square money, but not as much money as they could make for no foreseeable benefit.
You can go "Well, there will always be people who pay" yada yada woesome style logic that doesn't go anywhere, that's defeatist - ask yourself the genuine question... Who doesn't want more money?
Everybody wants a little more of something they don't have.
It seems to me a lot of companies in the current decade are allergic to money, whether that come in the form of putting their prices out of reach of their customers (Nvidia) or making subpar/recycled products for unreasonable (if reachable) prices (Nintendo) or refusing no matter what to make what people actually want (Microsoft, Square, others). Seems to me all of these are obvious pitfalls that any company with an interest in making money would avoid like the plague and yet, here we are.
We tend to believe those in charge are capable super intelligent, which for the most part isn't true.
Usually, they're the stupidest, stubborn and ignorant person in the room, but are the ones with power, either through money (shareholders) or position (CEO, management).
Remember that SquareEnix are one of the victims of NFT scams.

"We are aware, but we don't know why or how to fix it"
I don't play very much (any) high end content but I've done every alliance raid and a lot of normal raids and trials hundreds of times and those mechanics are not random, sometimes I can pre-position myself long before they telegraph. Sometimes I wonder if people think I'm cheating...Yeah i agree, i know how to sit in microscopic safespots because I engage in content often and I play lots of high-end content. I've seen VERY FEW cheaters. Seems like a skill issue to me, ngl.
Also, we all know the truth, anti-cheat would result in a mass-exodus of players. Not because of cheating, but because of mods and QoL plugins that we know millions of players use. It would kill what's left of the RP/ERP scene and people would not be happy to lose their QoL that they love.

Oh it's way simpler than plugins or mods or whatever for me. I don't want to have any piece of corporate software with kernel 0 access on my machine. Also, we all know the truth, anti-cheat would result in a mass-exodus of players. Yeah it validates my neurospicy side and gives me confidence.

I don't disagree there is an issue with people using third party programs but finding microscopic safe spots is the melee/tank favorite pastime.
