Given that my reaction, as well as that of my closest in-game friend, was to unsubscribe immediately after the LL, I think that answers the OP's question.

I'm also going to make a prediction, because if it pans out I can show everyone how clever I am, and if it doesn't everyone will have forgotten about it and I can just whistle like it never happened.

By 8.3, the player count will have fallen to one third the EW peak.

I would say thats an easy prediction, since by the release of 8.0 we will know if anything changed (and I dont expect it to)
