Is Rinon in a premade group or not? Please stick to one story thank you.So 25 minutes after getting in this OC instance, and after trying to start the raid in another OC instance before that at 3:10:54 ? https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2492919274?t=3h10m54s
Yeah we were definetly trying to snipe your premade it's obvious.
The world revolves around your party.
Hey! One of the people from the premade group here.
You got to love how welcoming this community is, first time i try to get into Forked Tower and from the start i get singled out with an emote which as i learned later was not for "coordination" but to mark ma as a "Do not revive" player.
My first message asking for a revive was when ~10 ppl were on the ground, all of them got revived but not me.
As for the second message concerning the toxicity, it was sent after everyone else took the teleport to the next area making impossible to revive me since i assume you can't teleport back.
Then i get accused of "sniping" someone during the pride month.. Why bring up the pride month other than play the victim when you are not ?
Thanks to this post i learned what "sniper" meant in FFXIV, so let me get this straight, we all pay for the game (subscription and all), we farm in Occult Crescent to reach lvl 20 and access the raid, but somehow you have to be in a certain Discord to have a right to play without being griefed ?
No matter how you look at it, not reveving someone in this raid is griefing since you make them lose 30k exp and a level, this kind of behaviour is against ToS so how can some people still defend it ?
Here is a full PoV from me: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2493289799?t=0h38m9s (timestamp for when we enter the tower)
- You have the right to join the content, there is no denying that. To my knowledge we are also allowed to treat you as solo players.
- As you mentioned, I'm the one who emoted so we could mark you and identify who weren't on voice comms with us easier.
- You died to the 2nd knockback on the first boss. We chose to not revive you since you indicated that your prog point was way behind of the groups. This was for the benefit of the run.
- Pride month comment was clearly a joke by the player in shout chat. Maybe it wasn't clear over text.
- By going into Forked Tower you are accepting the fact that you have the chance of losing a level. The group was currently progging Marble Dragon at the time, so losing the exp was highly likely. (Which we ended up losing)
- In your friends VOD (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2492919274?t=3h38m6s) they clearly recognize Rinon. They knew he was doing organized runs. As much as we could have let you know beforehand that it's an organized run (which didn't stop your friend from joining before either), you could have also simply asked whether or not we're a premade group.
- The OP stated that they don't want to stir up any drama, yet they name drop Rinon and single them out in the original post. Later again name dropping him in the OP's other comments in the thread. As stated many times the issue here is how SE has implemented the content, allowing for this kind of things to happen. There is no need to try to twist the facts about our encounter and make it seem like the organized groups are some big evil. If you enter the Tower alone/with your friends you might be left on the floor. It is also your right to do so to us.
These messages indicate that these premade alliances are ready and prepared to go inside the instance. You are being wilfully obtuse now.

Ok now i know that THESE messages are something that means a premade is here, because from my perspective this is gibberish.
Finaly, someone responding with an actual answer, thank you.
Stop acting like bullies and help people understand, that wasn't hard was it ?

Yeah but you know it was this specific group was a premade, you guys even comment on it.
3.52.40 : "So it means that this group is doing it every sunday on Phantom [...] at least on Chaos" "Oh yeah it's the same time as last week."

Unfortunately i didn't understand the messages listed above, so i didn't know this was a group this could have been a party of 16 to 48 players just like it could've been this particular players and full randoms, or with a few friends.
I'm not a mind reader nor was the premade clearly stated(for me at least) in the chat. After waiting for hours to start this raid and finaly see it i try to get in that's all.
Now that i know what these message means, i'll not interfere with runs when i see 48+ person tagged and these message are sent. And frankly i'll avoid this particular group forever.
Being the target of a crusade of hate and bullying after being the victim of griefing in game is not what i play for.
Acting like this in game is actively ruining the game for a lot of people you guys encounter in this new content that a lot of people want to enjoy.
Once again thanks Square Enix for doing the exact same mistakes you made years ago(according to long term players) and making the game worse day by day.

I hope you reported them for this as well, assuming you actually saw this in game and the people who said this ended up interfering with your run. Everyone involved in this is just covering themselves in glory, I swear. From 3.26.20 : "Time to bring the snipes [...] They are gona insult us (while laughing) [...] (the girl) Wait yeah I know, I think it's the conclave, the discord. It's a conclave run, they are FR and I just saw a guy that also does BA runs, it's one of the leads [...] Wait I'm going to look on discord if they are all on a voice channel [..] Hope we go in and snipe Arcus spot"

I mean, there is multiple time in the stream where the guy (I guess the one streaming) implicitely say that it's a group. He is aware of it and said it in vocal (I guess you are in that vocal).
At that point it's playing dumb and trying to lie on purpose. He even stated that nobody will raise anyone outside of their group and that you should stick together to avoid traps with them.
I loved the part where he is talking about streamer saying everyone try to gather around them to gatekeep like, is that even a point? Nobody care if someone is a streamer in that thing. The group isn't about the streamer, he is not even planning anything, he join the people trying to prog FT in a full premade like any similar content before.

So let me get this right? Just 'attempting' to join, and not standing aside like some kind of unclean, untouchable, Dalit sub-class, 'thats' what's supposed to constitute 'sniping'?!Bruh, they called the parties being ready in chat. You saw that, it's literally in the VOD, so OP stacked ciphers to ensure a space in the tower. That was intentional malice. Also, if you die to the personal mech on boss 2, that is extremely on you. Same for everything before boss 2.
Just, failing declining to play the game and logging off like good little vermin, that's sniping?
I had been hoping sniping was at least an assumption that someone was trying to sabotage the run, rather than just do their best to prog. But no? Just trying to get 'in' really is 'sniping'?!!!
@Xenosys , @ MrHappy , @Arthars .
You've seen the latest bancho figures right
https://youtu.be/sahvTmpq6Zc
You get how systems work I know you do.
You're not just good at it, you're 'really' good at it. Espcially Xeno from what I've seen.
You can 'see' what the intention was can't you?
You know what the temperature in the game has been since EW for casuals, and you can put 2 and 2 together when you see there is no normal instance for what was touted as THE content for casual players?
From there you an clearly see that the intention 'was' for instances to be a melting pot of groups and independents proging the instance as a collective of an entire playerbase skill level?
The instances take 48 man but the body checks are only 24 is that right?
You're telling me, your game theory analysis has determined there is absolutely no way to carry people while they are learning? (I mean perhaps, I don't know)
Yet you've chosen to remain silent, or if anything promote these premades, if not the actual 'active' exclusion of individual players, rather than setting an example (because my god you 'could' make such a difference if all three of you said "stop this".) You could have instead created a noise for the instance to be nerfed if that's the problem, rather than tacitly if not actively assist in the decimation of the game's playerbase.
Honestly, as 'ambassadors' for the game you're absolutely useless from what i've seen.
Yeah as coverers of raw content consumption you might be great, but as ambassadors your not doing the growth of the game or its wider reputation any good.
If it's been you're ambition to just be your average jo everyday gamer, but with a webcam, well you've certainly hit the mark there.
Gamers looking for a challenging exciting content with a toxic antisocial cabal of sweats have a plethora of other games to choose from which frankly XIV would struggle to compete with, with its janky old battle engine and its DDR prone deadend. Can you not see where this is headed?
Good luck now with SE & CB3 prioritising high end. I think they still will personally, but if they don't, at least you can tell yourselves you did absolutely 'nothing' to avoid that situation.
Absolutely fing useless.
To think SE have managed to squander the likes of Zepla and this is what they are left with for 'promoters', and 'ambassadors'.
It's just too unfunny to even slow clap.
