Some people are always going to find something to complain about but I'm happy for everyone else who is looking forward to finally getting their hats.

Emergency box was opened and suddenly the can do things when the playerbase is clearly dwindling and angry. Not the first time SE says something cant be done and it can suddenly be done later.
People were expecting it earlier, its kinda convenient on the timing, huh?

They a 100% rushed it out because people are generally unhappy with the expansion and the game through that. I sometimes feel like they dont WANT to do some things until its absolutely necessary

Actually, I was quite possitive with Dawntrail. I liked all the new stuff. Except OC I expected more off and quite plain x.3 which are usually filled with content.

Kinda wondrous what they can pull off when the community is grumpy huh? Maybe we should be collectively more grumpy at them and we might get the friendlist fixed too?

So glad to be putting my money into other projects than the game I'm playing.

The fact people are celebrating hats for vieras and hrothgars, yet it's not even all of them, and it's not even fixed properly at all, they basically just clip through, and this took almost 6 years.

Should you have them? Yes, you should have had them 6 years ago. Is it a pr distraction to placate a dissatisfied playerbase so they can continue to put out slop and the community will praise them for it? Also yes. Recognize the writing on the wall. Defending them in this case is exactly what they want to shrug off the growing player dissatisfaction.

I'm far from defending them. I haven't forgotten about the 4 hairstyles fiasco when Hrothgar initially released. I'm just happy about finally getting hats, and unwilling to let that fact get overshadowed by their incompetence. Both things can be true at the same time.
