The Roman numerals can be replaced or a option to turn them to normal ones. Unfortunately, I do not know Roman numerals. It's the same with the potions.

I don't know if they are, but I, V and X should be common enough that most people know them and know how they work.

nope it is not commen enough and ppl are diffenerent. forcing them into stuff they cant do / learn is a bad thing. a lot of ppl that include myself have disabilities, some need more time to understand stuff, some cant learn different symboles, numbers and so on.
so a option to switch to a different front is a better way for everyone tahn forcing them to someting.

Playing Devil's advocate, it can be a lot more about how it *feels*, it's not so much someone can't read Roman numerals, it's that they struggle to make sense of them on the fly, and need to stop and think through what they are looking at, because it is used so sparingly in their daily lives it is an unpracticed skill, so I understand the preference for avoiding Roman numerals, even if I hardly have this issue, I am one of the people who insists in typing Final Fantasy game titles with Roman numerals every time.

Pilgrims overall is nice, but moving forward I hope they've learned they do not need to introduce items required to farm quantum. I literally just throw them out because they are worthless and sell for like 100 gil a piece. Just 4 items taking up inventory space.

I know its an old thread but it kind of accentuates this point. Quest designs need to be improved upon. Leveling this character and doing every MSQ and sidequest has reminded of just how God damn boring it is. Every quest, and I do mean literally every quest, is just go talk to an npc, click a sparkle, or kill 2-3 weak mobs. Can we not get something like Air Force One but out in the open world for sidequests/MSQ (Spoiler the train MSQ cutscene in DT would've been perfect for an Air Force One type quest rather than just having me watch my character man the cannon)? Or hell just any of the gold saucer stuff reskinned and repurposed for the open world?
