Its not about "This Person is inferior to me" its about carrying the own weight, if you like it or not but Content especially FT or Savage Raids doesnt matter what now, have a Damage Check and a Enrage and you cant meet the Requirement with People which even have a Issue to press 3 Buttons back to back, or Press Buttons without 10s delay between them, nobody expects that you play perfect flawless like a young God, but we expect that you carry your own weight and if you are as example below Healers as DPS then you clearly dont carry your own weight. Please if you join Content which involves Combat, please try atleast to CARRY YOUR OWN WEIGHT

And people like you should stop to blame everything on Raider (BTW i said it again, every raider seems like to be hardcore for you which isnt even the case but yea) we dont look down on anyone, what we want is something which should be given if you join PUBLIC BATTLE CONTENT

I think this is the issue right here, "normals" "casuals" "randoms" are all hindrance to the mighty "real" player and their precious prog points. I mean this whole discussion has been brought on because OP was seen as a hindrance to this premades "prog point" and has been deliberately killed (yes yes argue about the tankbuster idc. They were deliberately not revived and have been told in no uncertain terms to piss off).

At this point it isn't about cooperating in an mmo anymore. It's viewing other players as either "inferior" or a "hindrance".

Even *if* you actually go to the discords and look at their sign up sheets:
- Prior savage experience required (provide logs)
- Prog point proof
- Study these 10 guides
- watch these 5 videos
- we will monitor your performance

Even in the discords its not about cooperating or overcoming challenges. It is simply viewing the player as a "hindrance" who you can harass (in the best case scenario they are a random so you can claim its justified) or treat like an inferior being who needs to shut up and fall in line.

That is the crux of the issue. Casuals vs Hardcore is just one of the many expressions of: "This person is a hindrance and inferior to me" and that has been a very growing and real sentiment.

Their ridiculous sign up requirements are the real hindrance here I don't want to have to go prove myself to people who believe themselves superior to me just because they got into the content a couple weeks before me. I've earned the right to play the content already ingame why other players think they are entitled to so much power and control over others is beyond me.

With "People like you" i dont mean Casuals, i said it more then once, Casuals are raiding too, Casuals know how to play the Class too, Casuals enjoy challening Content too, you arent Hardcore if you start to Raid or enjoy harder Content, Casual is just the definition how much time you spend with certain Content, i said it in another Thread one of my best Friends cleared the whole Tier with 2h each Week investment and sees himself as a Casual, i mean people which always try to blame everything on Raiders take as example you right now, you try to blame me because of the "people like you" and try direct to go in a Casual vs. Hardcore Direction yet again

Carrying your own weight is not "looking down on someone" its something everyone should do if they play a MMORPG which involves the Time of other People, its for me part of basic manner in a MMORPG, atleast if you join Content which clearly has a Damage Check and Enrage, atleast when it comes down to Raids, heck i dont even care if you press 1 1 1 1 1 in a Dungeon, but if YOU plan to join difficult Content then its a GIVEN that you try to carry your own weight, that has nothing to do with "looking down" on someone

It is actually quite ridiculous. But I guess its just another way of flexing perceived superiority over the "normal" player. Kind of like reddit mods in a way. Just with more gatekeeping so even if you are a total noobie casual and jump through every hoop nobody will even consider you for a run because you have "no experience with hard content" and to "not inconvenience the other players".

Which just feeds back into my argument about SOME (there, not every raider (: ) raiders feel themselves so far above normal players that they immediately perceive them as a "threat", "hindrance" or "inferior". And I think this whole FT discourse just opened the flood gates because before FT they could do that comfy in their savage and ultimate PFs, they could effectively gatekeep the inferior bad players but now they are forced to interact with them and I guess some of them really really do not like that they cant tell Johnny Random to piss off and go away from "their" content like they could in PFs.

I give you now an example, because im curious about the answer, you and 7 other People forming a Group and you wanna try to clear as example its only an example you wanna clear a Savage Fight aftern 2-3h you still couldnt clear it because YOU arent doing enough dmg, and the group deceides then to kick you, what would you say? would you blame them? would you say they look down on you? would you blame them for the "made up laws" or would you accept the fact that your dmg was the reason they couldnt clear the fight ?
