you can feel how you want but if you enter and grief by leaving immediately because someone else joined is griefing, but go off~I’m sorry like what does this comment even mean. I’m not angry about anything. I’m telling you that twisting the BA scaling griefing system to pretend like leaving forked because someone messed up assigned groups is reportable is straight up wrong
These people explicitly wanted to do the content, they just wanted to do it on their own terms. You can’t force them to bring you along under threat of the TOS simply because you zoned in with them, that isn’t what that narrow branch of the TOS was ever about

SE looked back at BA and were like, yeah let's do that again. Instance prog for hours, just to get locked out of FT when you all finally make it into the same instance, because some randoms decided to stand on the funny glowy platform. I'll never blame the player though, even for malicious "sniping". It's SE's fault for designing a terrible system.

BA was more excusable because of various reasons. FT is like them taking the worst parts of BA and sticking them together.SE looked back at BA and were like, yeah let's do that again. Want to point out if it hasn't been already, people "sniping" you with tank busters isn't necessarily intentional.
I have inadvertently killed people with TBs in the idol fight because I was moving to a nearby spot where no one else seemed to be standing, only for someone who wasn't there on my screen to suddenly appear once I got there. I also have displayed nearby characters set to maximum in my config settings, so it isn't even because of that.
I'm looking at the 2nd boss's raidplan and the chances that it was an intentional snipe seems pretty low, it's a conal AOE and the party needs to be stacked for a line AOE. The only real intentional part that I can tell would be the lack of raising.I think everyone here can agree that actively dropping a tankbuster on a random player just because they're not in your group is a bad thing and is reportable, but it's valid to have some annoyance towards the solo player who took the place of one of your organised team (since you can take upwards of an hour to even get into the same instance with everyone), especially when said solo player can very easily (with no cost to them) leave the instance and try their luck in another one, maybe they get lucky in another instance and the organised team there only has 47 because someone went AFK and got kicked out, who knows?
Either way, solo players are free to enter the content as it is public and discords are not the devil, most of the issues come directly from how the content is designed, which is purely on the shoulders of the dev team.

As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

Why would there be a lot of reclear runs right now? Only like 300 people (according to ffxivcollect) own the mount, and a good chunk of those people are probably the ones in the Discord organizing said runs. Considering how many people sign up, how difficult it is to get said people into an instance together, having to deal with possible randoms joining, MANY ways for the raid to go bad , etc... I think most people want to run it once, get their blood cube, then never touch it again.
