no what i would suggest is an Item similar to Reraise earrings in XI that gives u sanction
so that even if you lose it in combat u can still use it and if it wore off u can again use it

I like your compromise, as long as you need to refill the earrings. Or what about using anima to refill it? Or maybe even crystals to refill the sanction (similar to the skyrim enchantment system)

Using anima to refill sanction would be pretty awesome actually... I think since we're stuck with it now and there's ways to recover quicker (Hamlet) we should be using anima in new and different ways!
