XIV main antagonist has no recognition and seems like no one cares or knows it.

Even if your story has chapters it stills the same story.
Star Wars episode I to IX has different chapters and in each one of them it has an antagonist on it (Darth Maul, Dooku, Vader, Snoke) but the main antagonist that ties all together is Palpatine.
Its the same in XIV, each expansion has its antagonist but the main one is Elidibus

You could make the argument that Hydaelyn ties it all together. Or that Emet-Selch ties it all together and wraps it up at the end, considering he had a hand in everything from ancient times, through to the creation of the Allagans and Garlemald and the rejoinings and ultimately the ending with a thumb click. Or meteion or hermes who, although absent a lot, technically started things then finished them.

Im not talking about the MTG but the general recognition.
I used Star Wars because its a story everyone knows that has the classical elements of a narrative (Protagonist - Antagonist).
Its not about who started what (even tho it also is Elidibus who started everything in Elpis when he sent the WoL to the past, and finished it on Pandemonium), its about who is the one that's been spinning the thread since the begging, whose intervention made Thordan VII, Ilberd, Asahi, Yotsuyu, Varis, Zenos, and even Emet-Selch (Ere our courtain falls story) appear in the story. Thats why I made that resume of Elidibus interventions, seems like people tends to forget how many things he did in the game lore.
Also, its stated in Shb that ultimately the one behind Emet-Selch's grand civilizations its Elidibus, and he was also the one supervising every single one of the rejoinings so he really was in everything.
