The onsen walls give you some space to decorate both sides for mediums like using trees surrounding the onsen and on the other side, there is actually a good amount of space allowing you to fit many things that don't normally fit.

But it's just another eastern/Japanese house. And everywhere I look I see a dozen of them. :') The half-timbered house is one of my faves, I just wish it were wider.

Oh okie, that's understandable, hopefully they release walls that have space on the sides. But would would really be nice is to put a cottage to have a larger yard, I probably would downsize my homes to a house or cottage just for more space in my yard, I want to create a sort of nature trail to walk through, my home in LB is kinda like that since I didn't like the small fence opening leading to the front door.

I also believe a mansion could also fit in a medium plot taking up all the space to the sides if that's what you're looking for.

During the live letter, Yoshi-P talked about a potential change for the upcoming patch cycle (past 7.1), wherein players could upgrade their house interior to that of a larger house (the example he used was a small house with a large house interior.

I'm pretty stoked for this, as it's something I've suggested a few times. Also, I hope it applies to apartments as well, because people who can't get houses deserve nice things too!

Please include apartments. Housing is so unnecessarily stressful and disheartening. This is a fantastic QOL improvement and I'm grateful. But please don't forget us apartment dwellers.

I’m hoping when they get around to this that they’ll finally give apartments their own small, medium and large layouts. I’d love to see multi-leveled lofts and penthouses! And I'm really hoping for more custom interior layouts in general. But if all they can do is use the same interiors as the houses, they need to extend that to apartments as well.

I'm kind of reviving this Thread in hoping we will see something coming soon. I'm still hoping for 7.3 but if it's 7.4 or even 8.0 I'm fine with it, I just hope there will be am extensive update with

- more slots (interior/exterior)
- Housing Upgrade
- more wards
- more housing wards
- more designs

I'm also hoping apartments and FC rooms will get a specific update as well, where you can maybe change the interior design and add something like a terrace or a balcony to have some outdoor features. Or add a second story to your apartment and make it a condo. I know someone else has suggested it in another thread but that was specifically for S9. I hope it will also be available for every other ward.

They said the furnishing increase was coming either 7.2 or 7.3, so it should be next patch.

I hope so, I've been waiting since last year when they announced it and my home in LB still remains incomplete. I also hope the the new limit is generous with double the limit being ideal when WoW is going to have a 10k limit soon.
