Despite my misgivings about the appalling Atma drop-rate, I returned to OC with the mindset of "forget Atma, just grind Silver pieces".

And I'm STILL disappointed; because I favor playing healer, particularly Sage. To quote something I read in the comments on Reddit:
Moreso than any exploration content beforehand, Tanks just end up as kings. Phantom actions devalue dps by giving huge damage buttons to everyone; healers are devalued by chemists spamming out infinite raises. Survivability is the thing most limited both by the mastery buff and by phantom actions, so tanks end up being kings of the zone. Phantom jobs have shrunk the player space, not expanded it.

And this is evidenced - from my experience at least - by the sheer number of Tanks in every CE or OC-FATE I enter.

The thing is, I never really finished fully levelling any tank job as I just don't enjoy tank gameplay. Which means I generally play OC as Sage, and it feels really unrewarding and redundant.

It's fun, in a tradicomedy way, when I can eat vul stacks as a tank, but if a DPS gets one and a raid wide hits, they're almost dead. Even on the turtle the optimal play as a tank is to ignore the buy mechanic and just DPS.

I still don't get why job mastery only gives increased damage and healing, but not defense. From what I've seen only the knight's 10% mit ability gives you a longer lasting defense. This just favors tanks since they get much stronger and have no problem surviving.

I still see healers when I joined parties in OC a week ago, and if you enjoy healing, then continue on and join parties, since most people will be DPS looking for a party for CE/Fates.

Also, being a GNB means I can't do the gold farm trick, but I have a lot of fun solo joining CE with even just CHM, due to that almost nothing can kill me up to 10+ vuln stacks, I'm still ticking along is amusing too. It's fun I rarely play tank beyond rous or backup support for anyone else.

I feel very valued as a healer, so much in fact that I tried to do OC as a BLM but every group I joined really ended up needing more heals or even a second healer with how easy it is to die for learning players.

Also I quite enjoy being able to Starfall and then immediately heal myself, or a DPS that wants to Starfall.

I see Tanks being tempting because they run around with 9 stacks and are still alive and a general DPS can take like 3.

That's why I liked Bozja less than Eureka and it's sad to see that style continued here.

If they don't want to do the mob prepping from Eureka again past the couple CEs that require it then they should add other fun little objectives on the map for people to work together to complete. Maybe there could be platforms that require certain jobs to stand there to open a door or a tower you have to capture or whatever. Anything more engaging than just a big silent death ball rolling around the map.
I agree with this - I have noticed people are so busy constantly moving and doing a fate or CE that this area isn't quite as social as Eureka was. A bit of a pause between events could be nice for that purpose.

Wouldn't call someone who can not do mechanics a king, rather playing the game on "very easy mode". This is the job you pick when you don't actually want to play the game. The real magick happens when tanks manage to die regardless, that's pretty funny.
