Should FC Leaders Be Able to Convert Personal Homes into FC Houses?

Good points: Keep in mind I'm speaking on behalf of a Guild that's been together for just over 19 years now with no intention of leaving the FFXIV chapter and just want to open my Wife and I's personal home to the FC for use thereby removing the need for the small in Mist and giving someone the ability to have a home =)

The kind sentiments that prompted your question? Much appreciated! BUT, yes, the idea you propose would, sadly, be very prone to it being abused and causing a lot more difficulties and conflicts, than things it would solve... and we already have a situation of people abusing the system to create shell FCs and grab up multiple houses (mainly to gil-farm using the workshops)... so no, I'd rather not see SE take you up on that. See the other "housing" thread currently up in first page here for the "new neighborhood design" I've proposed, that then added as new wards to existing worlds, I think *would* alleviate some of the housing stress issues. Not all, but some.
