Stuff like THIS is the reason Housing is a Joke -- SE please do something about this!

First I want to explain, I know this is uber necro going back to 2020 of an old thread, second, I want to apologize for said necro, but I feel it is important to do this in this way. I found this thread through googling in my own troubles likely others will too. It's 2025 and this is a thread from 2020, Square, Yoshi. I refuse to believe they see this shit but if they do, please God. In my own troubles (Just learning how to change Chocobo colors) I went down the whole rabbit whole of learning about housing, its utter failure and what not. As someone earlier in this thread said, "Just use an apartment." you can do the same things there. Well my Server, and I assume many other don't have them. On my server, right now, there is a single 3,000,000 house. Small. Square Enix needs to fix this. 5 years. This thread has been going. Someone said "On my server I've never seen all the apartments occupy" or something like that, well that was years ago. They do no. My server has nothing. And in the 5 years this thread has ran, Square has done nothing. So to me, housing is dead. I'm lucky, the friend that joined me is in an FC that still has room space. They have a garden and the owner doesn't care. So that's what I'll do, a private room and use FC gardening. But not everyone is as lucky. This is a massive issue and genuinely question if Yoshi or Square even give a damn.

Even if you removed every single house that is owned by multiowners, we wouldnt have anywhere near enough houses for everyone since SE refuses to add more than a few wards every time which honestly fixes nothing at all, they need to add far more or make wards dynamic so that it auto creates more based on demand (at least giving a small house to everyone), instanced is a solution sure, but an extremely boring one so I am agaisnt it

This isnt true. Ive heard rumors about Balmung being low on apartments, so thinking maybe this was a Crystal specific problem i traveled over. Picked a random ward in Lavender Beds(19 if that matters), and less then half the apartments were taken. If the first ward i randomly picked in a popular district was less then half full, i see no need to randomly pick others to check. There just ARE apartments still, and apartments work just fine for chocobo dying.

This isnt me saying the system shouldnt be improved, this isnt me saying apartments are just as good. This is just me saying that the statement above is false, that server isnt out of apartments.
