ok so Woke Lamat is a Mary Sue or a bad one at it like she have the most line in the whole expension! like even all other character doesn't even reach close if we combine them to Woke Lamat!


But on a other not she doesn't growth at all like she have to kill her brother and not even sad or no emotional conflict anything just sure let's go!


She feel like she is protected of the protected I don't know it's because of how "precious" she is but it feel wrong all character are full on back character like not even side you could remove everyone except Woke Lamat and the story would be the same thing. I am happen she took a back stage roles and wish she stay there and when the next expension come out please NEVER give her a screen time!

Generally, I used to hate Wuk - a lot. Even went so far as to Wuk Bash - but 7.2 started to change my mind a little bit when I noticed she was learning in the background. Sure, she's a crazy cat lady who doesn't know how to lead still, but she's still worth having around.

And for the record, I still don't like her in case people are going to jump down my throat about how I'm a part of the Wuk Defense Force just by expressing this - I'm just being constructive.

Looking at post-patch, they've taken more and more time away from Wuk to focus on other characters, which isn't a bad thing necessarily - it makes good scene setting in the long run because you have character development for people like Gulool Ja and Koana - and especially Good Sphene and not the Simulant this patch. Of course, Wuk's still there - she's just not in every cutscene like she was in 7.0.

The other thing I'd like to note is that her mannerisms are a bit different when I was listening to the VA. She showed more emotion this time around, and it sounds like the VA had better voice direction than she did before. It was a surprise to me hearing it, especially after what was to be expected from Wuk after listening to her from 7.0 and 7.1.

If anything, I think they're going in the right direction - but there's still more groundwork to be done to actually make Wuk okay for me. Namely Wuk needs to be able to make a difficult decision down the road since that is the sign of a leader - especially in high stakes situations like the one we're probably looking towards next patch.

I mostly agree with you but I think whatever they do with Wuk it's already to later everyone is tired of her because her from ew patch is so different then what we got too

That's why whenever emotion and yelling has to be done the tone slips even further.
The VA even said they avoid yelling cause it makes them sound like a male.

An experienced trans VA may be able to pull it off but the VA of Wuk Lamat has very little VA work to their name 2 of which being male VA roles.

One of the reasons why some people speculate / speculated the friendship to the EN localization lead is what decided who the role went to and not talent.
That the Wuk Lamat casting was due to Nepotism.

honestly I did the expection in JP VA but my sister did it in English and I was well cringing so hard. that isn't quality that is a joke I said that outloud and outraged she didn't even finish DT because she feel insulted that a female that is supposed to be well the center is a man I will not say the word she said because even for me it was hella free

The absolute worst was during the already insulting moment when Wuk Lamat barges into our Trial fight.
