Wait how? I played for 2 hours and I could barely get some of my crafting jobs to lvl 3 cosmos tool?

I think it means "done" as "I don't want to continue".
I don't think it would even be possible to max everything in three days (but if that's the case, then OP has bigger issues than CE being boring content...).
I do not enjoy crafting but I love to gather and gathering quest are well on a weird LV of not enough time sadly. If you are there to gamble for minions on kupo of fortune you obviously don’t enjoy crafting so I’m not sure why you thought this content was going to be for you anyway. Some of us actually like crafting for the sake of crafting, like they made this clear it was ishgardian restoration 2.0
I hate timed events and the gather spot tags are hard to see on the bright moon. Not sure who had that idea but they should of had a color on them
"Fanboy is gaming jargon used to describe an individual that has gone beyond the point of being a PC or console game fan and, during online chats or discussions, shifts to defend the program at all costs, unable to take any criticism or acknowledge any shortcomings of the game or gaming console."
I see... well, I kind of like it, but I think I can't spend more than 1 - 2 hours on it without wanting to do anything else. This will be true of Crescent Island as well, it's cool content, but if you burn it out, in 1 - 3 days its gonna feel like it's just not entertaining enough.
The class A missions are hard, it's true, in the sense that you can't tune out and watch YouTube and mash macro buttons to do them. They force you to actually pay attention.
But I've managed to clear most of them on my alchemist so far.
I think a lot of the 100 penta melded crafters are opting to get gold on the A ranks, then swap back down to the less intense B ranks for grinding because you can just smack macros for those. (Even then, you better pay attention on what the durability and quality requirements are.)
A ranks can be macroed if you can hit certain breakpoints (well at least most can). Of the 12 A ranks in the regular rotation for crafters I can macro gold 9 of them. Of the remaining 3 1 you can easily macro silver and it seems like it’s XP proportions are a bit out of whack because getting silver on this one gives more experience than gold on almost any other (for anyone who’s done it it’s the 9900/20300/70 expert craft you only have to make one of) and the other 2 are generally harder and if you macro them you’ll probably only get bronze but it’s easy to ignore those 2 and only do them as manual expert crafts
As for the gatherers they basically just seem to need at least 920 GP, a potion and the gathering to clear the collectible breakpoints (which i believe is 5400), once you hit all of that there is 5-6 out of the 12 that can be consistently golded with near no RNG
and I’m only mid tier pentamelded using island sanctuary materia rather than current tier, so it’s likely easier for people running around in 12/12/12/11/11 pentamelds
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
The ones involving collectables seem to me way harder than the others, but that may just reflect the fact I don't have a lot of experience gathering collectables. Even the regular ones seem to have a huge variation in timing tightness within a given A,B,C,D rank.

I never planned to touch this content anyway, crafting and gathering isn't for a lot of people, but give it a month or so and the novelty of it will go away.
Not to say it isn't good to have this type of content but this along Occult Crescent won't last all expansion, while they are good types of content to have, when the game is built around it. But when the game doesn't feel fun in general and takes a while to update your asking a lot for content if you think it can hold up the game alone.
