Since they upgraded the block list, it seems to be a very big issue. But they failed to implement it correctly. If they want to do it right then the block list has to be implemented on the server. But implementing it on the server side means, it will push more load on their servers. And since SQEX is a small indie company, which has absolutely no money, they implemented it on the client. Because they can externalize the costs for it.
Cheers
It's not a case of forgetting, its a case of realising it wont be changed and just giving up.
Basically, put up with it or quit.
This load on their servers would cost them at most a few thousand dollars. This is peak penny pinching from SE.Since they upgraded the block list, it seems to be a very big issue. Just realized they deleted the thread. This is beyond pathetic.
Don't worry Yoshi promised LEGAL ACTION against the plugin users. Surely Yoshi wouldn't be talking completely out of his ass.

Well it's not working. I still remember.

I absolutely see if a proper fix is infeasible, not sufficiently viable, and they just can't do it
BUT then they HAVE to roll back to before blacklisting applied to accounts, and just go back to blacklisting specific charaters, and keep the accounts away from the frikin clients.
They can always put a severside account blacklist on the roadmap they put speech bubbles on.
