Last tier honestly felt like a joke by comparison. DPS checks were basically non-existent, just do the mechanics somewhat correctly and you’d clear. The fights felt more like extreme trials than savage. Hands down the easiest raid tier we’ve had since Alexander: Creator. I cleared it in week two with barely any time invested in PF. I’ve already spent more time on M6S alone than I did on that entire tier, and yet people still can’t consistently get past adds. At this point, your only real options are to get giga lucky, join clear parties or beg a static to get you through it. Or try again in week 7 when people have the normal weapons.

Even Week7 would change Dogshit, because the fundamental Issues are still there, People dont know how to handle adds, its the same with people saying MCH is bad in m6s, hell now mch is incredible if put on the right spot, let him prio one target and you see how it gets destroyed

so yea m6s did take the longest to clear in PF but i still enjoyed every lil bit of it and like i said previous maybe people wake up and try to get information of how to handle the addphase for the class they play *hust balance discord has everything important in the encounter channel hust*

you'll get stronger every week with tomestone gear which will make the dps check non existent for even bad groups
The problem is the gap and the week one anomaly.

Week one groups clear content with what seems like consummate ease, after which things become frustratingly rough to the point that many people just give up altogether and accept there's more or less week one and the odd patch with basically none the twain to meet.

This is further amplified by the modern emphasis on trendiness. People don't stick around to tough it out, they treat content drops as a short term event and then they faff back off to Wilds or whatever.

If you don't work a job that allows you to that easily PTO on short notice, RIP. And in many cases (especially EX trials), it's not even just WEEK one, it's DAY one, so also RIP people that don't have Tuesday evenings free ...

It also doubtless contributes to the huge increase in emergency/"hotfix" maintenance we have had lately (as an S rank spawner, this is a waterfall tear inducing trend) - because of all this, a delayed patch is a huge deal because people HAVE literally been setting aside PTO to meet the near-need to follow community trends.

We're backsliding, folks. Remember when we were moving in the direction of "it's silly to build your real life around a game?" That seems to have completely gone out the window and we're back to "either manage your IRL to put the game first or get out" culture

And FWIW - even WoW Mythic+, possibly one of the most notoriously thorny and gatekept PUG communities on the planet, doesn't really have this same issue. (I'm not sure why. It might be the more steady flow of gear, or the fact that many WoW players actively avoid patch day because of server instability and bugs that need hotfixing during the first week or two, or the fact that WoW has few options for playing outside of toughing out the raid-style endgame content. Maybe all of these?).

This, so much this, especially when you consider the trickle that tomestone gear is. It's not a +10 ilvl upgrade (which would be huge), it's a +10 ilvl to a SINGLE SLOT every week or two (as the tome prices are so designed that you cannot upgrade a left side in one week). That's more like a +1 level upgrade each time.

Meanwhile the week oners have multiple 760 pieces, but mostly they keep themselves cordoned off while PF is stuck with more or less almost the same gear conditions that the tier started in ...

    Bad leader

Joined a Cleavemaxxing ADDS 4 prog party made by a SAM, the entry requirement was 747 IL but despite that we filled pretty quickly.

Before we began the party lead placed down his very weird markers, which looked more like M5S's markers than M6S's. After a small discussion about which markers were better, we agreed to use the normal markers.
First pull we die at cactus because the SAM took his defamation to the stack. This was the first of many incidents that would happen at cactus.
Couple pulls later we still hadn't seen adds due to a series of mess ups.
Eventually though, the party leader (the samurai) started complaining that the healers were "playing their class wrong"
When asked what he meant by that he said, and i kid you not, that "healers aren't supposed to attack the boss, all they should be doing is keeping the party alive and buffing us."
It was at this point one of the healers pointed out that the samurai's IL was actually 738, a far cry from the 747 he put as a requirement. And as if to add salt to the injury, the guy also had no melds.
Upon seeing this the main tank said his piece and promply left the party.
Everyone else followed after him and we disbanded.
    We never saw adds.

what you can learn from this is, inspect your party members before the first pull.
