My man, for the love of sweet baby Thaliak, could you STOP with the slandering of crafters? Just because YOU are unable to understand the crafting system, doesn't mean that others are resorting to ToS breaking plugins. We had this whole debacle with you only a few weeks ago, why have you not learned a thing since then?

Also unsynced farms... not fun don't have the time, trying to enjoy other parts of the game savage don't play. 8 months? not if you've been unsubbed.
The last time we had to have this conversation with you, people flooded you with dozens of different suggestions on how to make very easy money, and you rejected EVERY SINGLE ONE of them. You want to be rewarded for the most mundance of activities, and quite frankly, you already are, given that each roulette gives a few thousand gil, the challenge logs give out another few dozen thousand gil for spending 5 minutes in the saucer playing some barely engaging mini game. It's a you problem, simply a you problem.

"These" players know exactly how long it takes. And if you already fail miserably in the EX, then you have absolutely no chance in savage.

The irony is pretty funny, given the vile statements you fling around in this forum.

Again, this is all on you, no one else. The fact that you constantly need the company of others to enjoy this game, is already the absolute biggest red flag there could even exist. No one likes to have people around in an activity that don't want to be at the activity and just expect others to be some kind of entertainment service. It's why you obviously have so much trouble making connections with other ingame, as evidenced by the fact that you completely trash talk every kind of activity and effort someone may put in, whether that is in regards to combat, or crafting, or the mere act of organizing something. Further, you resubscribed before the current patch even hit, for "preparations", except you do not engage in any activity that prepares anything. You don't learn any fights, you don't gear your classes. The field operation is listed on the special site as "patch 7.25" ever since it launched, yet you resubscribed to the game after the announcement of that content.

OP, you ... are living in another dimension. I've no idea what you mean and everything you said was wrong.

    1. Crafted gear is not 20 million. Well, it is if you purchase it on the first day where prices are naturally astronomical. They go lower quickly and stabilize. That said - buying crafted set is for the rich people who want to skip any chores.
    2. You can go gather everything yourself, and ask a friend to craft it for you.
    3. You can also ask a friend to gather AND craft everything for you, with you supplying only the tomestone materials.
    4. You can do the normal-difficulty raid instead...?
    5. You can supplement the lowest pieces with tomestone gear also?
    6. You can raid previous tier savage with an advantage and get the savage gear. Not the best option but it's a silly one for you because you're silly.
    7. You can also get Alliance gear.
    8. You don't need raid gear if you don't raid. Just do the Expert Dungeon Roulette and that full set of gear is good enough.
    9. This isn't another MMO, you are fine with lower ilvl gear, you can do other things in game that isn't raiding.
Final analogy: you don't need a racing car if you don't take it to the track to race. Stick to your commuter wagon, it's fine.

You pretty much described most of doom posters in this forum. It's really crazy how unhinged some of the opinions are, and not to mention, I find it a bit funny how most of them did not post anything positive in a long time. How do people live in a continuous misery, and self-inflicted at that..lol

Every Static ive ever been in had at least one crafter who only needed the tome parts to make me a full crafted set for free.
Now you should have enough current materia to put 2 big one in each part and maybe in some pieces the 3rd one.

Buy the small materia from the previous expansion for the NPC sell price and you get your crafted gear penta melded.
Total cost of everything? You gain 200k+ for selling more tome items because you capped the tomes before the new raid tier patch.

If you not willing to put the time and effort into getting the gear needed for savage then no way are you going to be willing to put in the time and effort to complete savage.

I don't know about 'lowering' the iLvl of savage as it were, but it seems utterly crazy that I was bored out of my mind before 7.2.
Only ran roulletes for as long as it took to get my 450 tomes. Tank main and DPS main had good enough gear for EX3 and unreal.
Never got my DPS past about 722 before unsubbing. (Ex3 with its impossible rewards and same-old rouls is just not enough)

And here I am now, and I'm still logging off bored, because all the places in tank places in EX4 PFs are taken and my DPS isn't geared enough.
(So today I cancelled the renewal on my sub again. I will re-sub. But every day I don't will be a minor win of a small saving. Might be 2 days, 7 days, 2 weeks)

It seems utterly crazy that that I've got so little to do per week once hitting tome cap, end of patch cycle that I unsub. (what they want me to do)
But then I hit 7.2. Augmentation is still weekly capped.
7.2 hits and I'm still logging off because there is nothing to do because I can't gear my jobs for EX4.
If there is no delay between casual and high end, it ought to be that you are already geared when the patch comes out.|

(Forget crafted gear, not an option. Since DT came out I've earned 16,000,000gil . I've been keeping an Excel spreadsheet, and running the content I can still bear to run after all these years, I'm averaging 34,000 gil per week. Thats, the rouls I need for 450 cap. + frontlines roul. That's not enough to keep one in crafted gear. I could maybe do 2 maps run sessions a month rather than 1. I don't think that would make much difference.)

With the dismal lack of 'playable' casual content there should not be any time gate on the gear you need to get into Entry level high end content.
And with all the time to kill between patches, and of patch ought to be when you are getting geared for next content release.
Augmentation is the only way to get geared, and thats not an option with the weekly limit. With just one alliance to run again and again, its would be pretty un-fun. But at least its an option.
End of patch, just give current augment currency for regular alliance roul. At least we can mix it up. At least we can then be ready for EX. 720 gear is just literally useless.
One way or another the gearing is just bad.
And I don't even appreciate the complaints that others have about... gear staying relevant and... stuff.

I don't even try raiding. Lots of complicated rules that punishes people who wanna help players get clears by hiding chests. Requires gear that costs a lot of gil OR you to quit your real life job to farm tomestones. Requires great coordination among the players that will leave forever the moment they get a clear because it's a fuckin' chore, therefore good luck getting anything done after the first week.

Why should I even bother? :/
