    Better/New Rewards in Dungeon-Roulettes for people with maxed out Jobs

    So, I've been playing since end of ShB and I still love running dungeons/raids with different jobs, farming XP/Tomes etc.
    I even farmed my Mentor mount during EW, because I loved the variety.

    But since I maxed out all Jobs, "wasting" XP feels horrible.

    Can we have some kind of alternative rewards instead of XP in that case? (And for Khloes Adventurebook while we're at it)

    I'm not really picky, I'm fine with one or two of the following examples:

    - Bicolored Gems
    - increased amount of Gil
    - old hunt-tokens
    - teleport-vouchers
    - additional Khloe "points" for resetting the stickers
    - etc.etc.

    Or even a new token, exchangeable for exclusive glam, mounts, pets, orchestron rolls.

    I'd like my roulettes to be "worth" it.

    I think this would incentivize players a lot more.

    PSO2 did this, there was a faux experience bar that filled up and you'd get an item every time you "leveled up" at your cap level.

    Getting visual rewards for capping a class that’s already capped I think is a good way to bring in spell glams

    Like if I filled up 10 bars at level 100 I unlock the ability to turn mog parts into namazu parts

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    I really like this idea.

    FFXI had merit points, which were direct stat or abilility improvements, but FFXI was stuck on horizontal job progression for a LONG time and it was the only way to let people grind out improvements when the game was capped at 75 for years. Thankfully, those permanent improvements also stuck around at 99 and were still helpful, so no effort was wasted.

    Since that doesn't really work for XIV's gear progression, any of OP's suggestions could work. I especially like having more Khloe points as an option. It's either feast or famine when it comes to second chance points, and some weeks I struggle to get the right fights in a roulette and have to deliberately sign up for a level 70-80 dungeon instead of using a roulette to fill the need, which kind of defeats the purpose.

    FFXI's merit system in the 75 era meant that you could use your max level jobs for EXP grind.
    In FFXIV, once you get all jobs capped (or all the jobs you care about), the game just becomes a gear grind with a weekly cap and all those EXP roulettes don't give much to run.

    I would envision a merit style system, but for job glamour in FFXIV.
    So if you're playing on BLM you "level up" and gain a BLM job mastery point, if you do it on WAR it will be a WAR job mastery point.
    The points can then be used to buy certain glamour outfits, items and abilities.
    So for a PLD you might want the FFXI or Mobius artifact armor sets, or a MNK could get a Asuran Fists as a glamour ability for Phantom Rush. Could even get some retired job abilities such as DRK's Power Slash to glamour over Soul Eater.
    Especially the abilities would let people personalize their jobs.

    Each job would have their own points, so as to encourage people to play all the jobs for the different glamours, or just the jobs that they want to focus on.

    I'd certainly run more dungeons/roulettes if I could get those stupid bicolor gemstones from something else than eye gouging fates.

    Bicolor gems seems like a good idea as an alternative to just running FATEs. It doesn't have to be much and FATEs would still be the best option for quickly getting them, but a small amount every day would add up and help toward getting the vouchers.

    Honestly, there should be more crossover of rewards for different content outside of the very top end, let people enjoy they content they like and get progress towards the basic stuff in most other areas.

    This is a good idea. Even when leveling, the appeal for roulettes isn't there. There are so many other long grinds (PvP/DD/Bozja/gems) that give EXP on the side, so there's no reason to go through boring dungeons and CT.

    I wouldn't mind that or just uncap the math tomes much earlier since I just need to do the EXDR 4x a week, and I get bored for the other days on my maxed jobs.
