    I second this. You'd think including it with the second dye channel would be the most obvious choice. Choosing the white collar instead of the red accents is just plain strange. This and a number of other items added in 7.0 and later (such as the neo-kingdom healer/caster hats, on which the bottom of the brim is split into two different sections, one of which can't be dyed) seem to have intentionally bad dye channels.

    My guess is that the red bit being a gradient is what prohibits it from being dyeable but I don't recall if there are any other gear pieces where that has already been done.

    Gentlebean set already lets you dye both sides of the gradient.

    Well then there you go. I see no reason why this coat should be an exception in that case.
