Dont harass fir dance partner

Special props to that one DNC I had in party recently that gave DP to the tank, as I gave them mine. Asked them if they knew that 2 DNCs can partner each other, they replied "yes I know thank you, I main DNC".

Was this a dungeon? Sometimes it can actually be better to dance partner a tank over a brd/dnc if theirs a pretty big gear difference, obviously if your both on the same item level and skill in that situation dnc should get the dance partner. also considering AOE damage on tanks can be really good burst damage.

Theirs actual instances of dnc partner being decent on tank especially when you take into account peoples skill levels/gearing, though I can imagine it was likely a friend just wanting to buff their tank friend which it's a dungeon I wouldn't really be too fussed over it considering physical ranged isn't that far off tank it wouldn't take that much longer.

Underkeep expert roulette yes. And I'm fully penta'd. More than what the other DNC could claim to be.
You need a pretty hefty gear difference between a tank and a dnc/brd to bring a tank to just their level of personal dps vs single targets (bosses).
Even worse when it comes to mobs and AoE for the simple reason that dnc and brd are perfectly capable of competing on personal damage with most other dps jobs in those situations (on top of their buffs). Support jobs don't even come close.
Too specific of a case to really bother with randoms.

Skill level I can only judge once I see the player actually going through the instance.

I do not mind people giving it to their friends in dungeons really. It's just... a big eye roll and the post was more tongue in cheek than anything.

I don't know if i have really cursed dancer runs but I almost always end up with a DPS I can barely trust to give my partner to, though usually if im doing duties I don't always pay attention to others.

Though in your case a fully melded dancer would pretty much always be better then a tank.

Once skill levels are on the table and masks are off, then literally anybody in the party can suddenly become partner worthy.
I just wish pve partner wasn't so stupidly cumbersome to swap, give us pvp DP so we can swap on the fly...
