[SUGGESTION] Character creation needs an overhaul/rework/more options

I'd like female Viera to get the angled Bob cut that female races have
and to get Y'shtola Modish hair & Aymerics hair from the Mog Station
Male Viera also have not gotten Thancreds hair from the Mog Station outfit
Frans hairstyle (with the armor cap and without)
Mjrns hairstyle

Long hairstyles for everyone: side braids, Chignon bun with a larger bun- we literally only have 1 chignon/bun hairstyle & it's pitiful to look at.
Hilda's ponytail, Gaia's hair (even if it's adjusted to be shorter)
Emet's hair
Hythlodeaus hair

Better short hairstyles and face with facial hair and full beards - eyebrows for Highlander males.
chest hair for a 2nd masculine body type

Butt & thigh slider
Bulge slider

Interchangeable horns for Au Ra- horns not being stuck to a set face

Miqo'te tails with jewelry on them, different Miqo'te ear shapes
Au Ra horns with jewelry on them
Upright Viera ears with spots on them like the Viera from FF12
Elf ears for Hyurs
Human ears for Elezen
Garlean eye for Hyur & elezen

2 years later and I'm still such a strong advocate for this.

Even more so recently since I've been trying to make a male Viera that I actually like, and its been a struggle. being able to mix & match this options from the other face types would elevate XIV by so much

I love Male Viera face 3, but I hate the options that come with it, and would love to take the freckles, tattoo and facial hair from face 2 and use them on face 3.

but alas at this point, this will probably forever be just a dream.

I completely agree about the body sliders, when playing as a miqo'te I always wanted to make my character less pumped up. And I also wanted to see more variations of the ears! I always dreamed of tassels on the ears, like lynxes or caracals. And so that these ears are not hidden in hats, as is happening now in 95% of cases, if you put any new headdress on a miqo'te, it hides the ears and I turn into a hyur without ears. Also add more variations of the tails. More sliders for the body, face, ears, tails. Also sliders for choosing the color of hair, eyes and body!

Honestly at this point I think they just dont have the talent to pull off a character customization addition unless they want to risk their code to explode.
I bet if they added new facetypes or beards, everyone else couldnt wear hats either

I just want the 2B leggings to be the default lower half for female characters. My main is a female Viera and it sucks how I can't have her wear pants most of the time because her butt is so flat and her legs are so skinny that her upper top clothes don't mesh well with the pants she's wearing.

It's hard for me to describe, but it just looks off and awkward when she wears most pants and it sucks because I've had to give up wearing so many pants with certain tops for glamours because of the default models pancake ass and matchstick legs! >:/

Agreed on the head pieces hiding the ears being annoying. You can support this thread if you want to increase visibility on the matter.

We should also be able to choose whether to have blackened ear tips as well as their color on male miqo'te. Right now, the blackened ear patterns are specific to certain haircuts.

Finally, applying the graphical update to character bodies is pretty much a necessity.

Hopefully not. We're in dire need of more beard types for the males of all races.

I totally agree. I wish they could somehow let us choose a better body shape. It would be so nice if they could do this. I want my character to have some curves and look better in armour.

I would dearly love to see more height range in all of the races.

On average, there tends to be about a foot of difference between the smallest 'normal' heights and the tallest before getting into outliers and giantism or dwarfism. Let's reflect that in game! Let's have tall women that don't specifically come from tall races and short men that don't specifically come from short races! I would love to make K'rina 5'7 or 5'8 or so. I would love to see Midlander men who are 6'2 or 6'3. I would love to see Highlander men who are 5'10 burly balls of rage, spite, and spinach!

I would also like to see muscle tone for all races and the various sliders others have mentioned... just more options in general. But definitely the height!

If the devs can't added sliders for a character's lower half, then at least having 2 to 4 variants of pre-made body shapes would be nice.
