Let us withdraw items from unsubbed retainers (And saddlebag) please.

Instead, why not reduce your sub down to the single character?

I did try a 3rd retainer for a month, but I ended up releasing it since it didn't feel worth it. I can see if others want to do a lot of crafting and hold furnishings, which is quite a lot since housing slots haven't been increased for ages, and it feels bad to pay $5 per item later on.

I’d also like to be able to fire suspended retainers. I’ve had an expired retainer since 3.2, and it just sits there mocking me each time I visit the retainer bell.

It’s beyond wild that when asking to dismiss a retainer’s services, they tell me that I must first purchase the retainer again.

I could 100% get behind this. It's basically holding your items hostage until you pay them to get access to it again. Just open a limited window and let me take, but not give and close it till I pay again. I've made that mistake once and never again. It's bad enough that we have to pay convenience storage in the game. Just let it function in a way that doesn't require us to pay to get items out.

Also, while we are on the subject, you shouldn't have to pay to patch the game. You don't have to in any other game. So why here? Stop being worse, SquareEnix. It ill suits trying to build faith with us. Your security is a joke. Your infrastructure, in general, is a complete joke. Be better.

That's me and I'm a girl irl and I also got my retainers for storage of housing furnishings, glams and mats as an omnicrafter.

SE knew what they were doing with that one and keeping people subbed to multiple retainers.

But hell, ultimately i just want access too my items and can no longer afford to pay with how things have gone in both my life, and world affairs in general.
Not cheap buying stuff with US$ or Euros when your not from regions where you use those currency's.

So then I guess the question also would be - why do you (in general - not you specific) need that many? Even I craft, and I have four total, and it's plenty. I know people like the expeditions and all, but is that the only reason?

The better question is what downside is there to adding this feature where you have to push back on the OP?

• Retainers only re-activate from old to new, so if you want only what was on a 5th retainer you got to re-sub them all
• Retainers are locked to your sub duration, if you had a 6 month sub and 1 month in, then 5 months or no can do

It's easier to farm gil then buy the neon lights in my exp for rare mounts and minions. I don't think SE intended for players to get them often enough from ventures with their low drop rate, even if you bought every retainer.

That makes my request even more reasonable imo.
