Honestly? At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they were saving it for a "break glass in case of emergency situation" for when they really want to bring people back.
Up you go... needed feature.
It's time for another round of "Guess the job"!
Who wears this coat?
If you guessed casters, you're...... wrong! It's exclusively wearable by Dragoon and Reaper.
Surely you could tell from looking at it, right?
Bring back 6.0 Dragoon. I want my job back.
bumping this thread again.
I just wanna use the damn moonward veil for my dancer. Remove restrictions PLEASE!
I don't like the idear only because it'd make things visually confusing but only slightly.
Visual distinction of Jobs is important I think. . . but I know that someone might bring up people who show up in a chocobo suit or something.
All I know is as a whitemage the only thing I'd steal from another job would be Arcanists' many floppy conical hats. I deserve them... ALL of them.
But the game already doesnt have a visual distinction of the jobs because theres many glam sets that are all classes and many new outfits being released that looks like it was made for another class ect. So since they are doing this i personally just want them to go all in so we're not this inbetween state that we are in now. And if they go all in and remove restrictions it doesnt take away someones choice to still dress their class lore friendly to the class. I think removing restrictions is the best choice.I don't like the idear only because it'd make things visually confusing but only slightly.

I strongly agree with this assessment. Plus, many of the npcs in the game mix armor from different jobs. Why can't the WOL, who is far stronger then almost all of them, do the same? Surely our characters are more then strong enough at that point in the msq to wear armor as a caster, or any other sort of armor/clothing on any other class without it affecting us much, particularly when the much weaker npcs can do so? Even Yoshi P's lore argument falls apart when you see what glams the npcs have! Why do the npcs in the game have mixed and matched armor, but the player can't?But the game already doesnt have a visual distinction of the jobs because theres many glam sets that are all classes and many new outfits being released that looks like it was made for another class ect. It's my biggest frustration in the game right now. Just one big, frustrating contradiction that can be fixed if they just let players apply the glamours they want.

yesss exactly, hope the developers can understand this soonI strongly agree with this assessment. Plus, man of the npcs in the game mix armor from different jobs.
