    So... are Crit Rating and Crit Attack pretty low priority as far as melee gear goes?

    After looking over this article on crit testing, I'm guessing Attack Power and the two appropriate class stats are more important than anything crit related, right?

    So my idea of a Critgoon is kind of fail, huh.

    Thoughts?

    I'm taking the plunge into the world of min/max here.

    Well they are making adjustments to Dragoon so it may become viable. Maybe the modifier will be higher for DRG

    There was discussion about i think 1.22b where they mentioned DrG,LnC would be getting some crit love. May be better by then.

    Currently ATT PWR seems to be the way with STR and PIE in that order. or as far as info and my own experience say. But a lil crit doesn't seem to hurt either. Aslong as your not downgrading so much raw damage that the occasional crit doesnt even make up for it.

    All skills/traits/stats on AF point to DRG being designed as a critgoon. The idea isn't fail, it just isn't *perfect* yet. If you were smart you'd build your critgoon anyway and let SE make it more and more awesome as they rebalance classes. Don't forget that acc though, i'd say acc is to priority, followed by crit attack power..and honestly i wouldnt even touch crit rate outside of gear that just happens to give you some.

    I say this because our skills give us a pretty fat boost to crit rate, so its not something we really need. Combo bonus is enough, think how often you crit on combos without adding any crit rate at all lol.
