I have had a different experience.

Some of the matches I have won so far have gone this way:

1. start winning by small advantage.
2. adversaries equalize.
3. now we are behind.
4. we make the right moves during clutch time.
5. win by small margin

In my experience it's become more dynamic than in the past. Also, I did not play with any premades.
