I personally don't understand how people like you will go lengths to defend multidollar company guys that probably visit office 3-5 times a month and work for 10 hours total. I am Data Engineer, i get paid just like people you are trying to defend but 0.0000001% their salary, while having 1000000% times more responsibility to customers/business.

I seem to recall a schedule showing Yoshi-P working 12-13 hour days (despite his dislike for crunch-time). Wasn't he actively trying to get out of his board of directors position so he could focus more on game work? I'm curious where your assumption is coming from.

I think, when you're unhappy with a game, it's easier for people to assume that someone is either incompetent or not even working, versus acknowledging the possibility that someone's vision for the project doesn't align with your own. Easier, but not fair.

People would like ff14 to strive, while mentioned by me people (and many more) just want to burn money on side projects thinking they are valve like developers. I can't imagine telling to business "nah i am not going to make staff work faster on your end, everything works so i won't upgrade; btw one liner fix to python function will be deployed in 4 months, thanks for understanding".

If you can't see similarities to what SE is doing in last sentece, I legit can't help you.

I do. 7.2 same content rails as before, even more content dripping. I do not need to write essay about balance here.

Almost entire unit of developers/game designers has to go with Yoship. FF14 can only be saved with people who actually want to work on game.

Which would be fine if he used that knowledge to better XIV but we get 4 month timelapses for slop and only get the good thing at the final patch.

I don't want XIV to fail cause it WILL NOT recover, They do not have a new Yoshi P if it gets that bad they will close XIV or go full maintenance mode / zero new updates aside from bugfix.

I think CBu3 & Yoshi needs to be replaced before actual damage is done, It's already caused a migration do not allow them to make 8.0

Endwalker, Post Endwalker, Dawntrail & Post Dawntrail have been slop.

Endwalker memed all of the storybuilding then closed every talking point from previous expansions.

TLDR; The writers, Developers & Yoshi himself need to be re-evaluated if the same people who did the last 4 Endwalker, Post, Dawntrail, Post. Get to work on another expansion this game is done for.

It's already at point i cannot run Dawntrail content, 30+ min wait times but go back to Endwalker and it's almost instant. The COMMUNITY hates Dawntrail.

Also, We just got 7.2 and playercount only shot up by 4,500ish on steam which is the primary gaming platform despite what any clown wants to say. No platform has more users than Steam, If they did they'd publicly hype it and wouldn't hide ACTIVE user counts.

Assassins Creed Shadow has more players, At what point does this ring alarm bells for SE?

Agree almost completely. I only disagree on two points.

1: I would argue damage has already been done and it's overdue for new blood and a shakeup at CSIII
and
2: Wuk Lamat is actually not top 5, but in the top 3 for "most dialogue lines in game"

1) Honestly though, Letting them work on Post Dawntrail is pretty egregious

2) JFC I'd believe it though, I'm just quoting top 5 cause of the chart that was released while ago. Some madlad actually counted every single dialogue and she was just below Alphinaud. She beats Y'shtola, Urianger & Gra'ha by a massive lead.

I actually disagree. This game is an outlier in that most people actually don't play it through the Steam launcher. Not saying that Steam numbers aren't a valid indicator, I'm just stating a fact that most people use the freestanding launcher. Especially if they use mods, which can ONLY be done through a 3rd party launcher, and trust me, that playerbase is high.

Wouldn't know anything about that, I don't touch mods in any multiplayer game so i'll take your word for it.

All i know is my server is just as dead as before 7.2 that new raid? 30 + Min queue time as usual.

My sub expires on the 1st and i ain't resubbing till 8.0 is fully covered by non shill YouTubers.

Yeah, Yass Queen Yapper is ONLY beaten by Alphinaud and Alisaie. You know, the two characters who serve as the player mouthpiece since the PC themself can't actually speak. If those two didn't serve as our proxy voices, she would be the default winner, by a wide margin.
