Thanks for the eye patch facewear, but one small problem

We need 1 for each eye, and then we need an option for both eyes. If Runescape can do it, so can we, dammit!

Really wondering why they had to make a whole new system for facewear instead of just flagging existing glasses, eyepatches, etc. to fit in the face slot. Load of items I'd like to use, but nope. Was it spaghetti code? Forced player engagement?

I doubt that the inventory system lets things be multiple categories at the same time, and there are lots of headwear pieces with actual stats that can't just be changed to go in a different cosmetic slot instead.

I don't think the facewear slot can do /visor either, so they need to remain in the headwear slot if they use that option.

Also, given the limited dye choices of the facewear, just moving the original item to facewear would cut people out of being able to use the wider range of dyes on the headwear version.

I think they will be adding more than just those two face wear in the screenshot. So hopefully there is an eyepatch for the left eye in this patch.

I know a friend of mine also uses an eye patch. I'd say something positive about them being able to use hats with their eyepatch now, but she is a Viera.
At least the cutscenes that remove hats won't take her eyepatch away anymore.

It still means she'll be able to combine facewear with the Viera-compatible headgear like hoods and hairpins.

I'm hopeful, if only because last time we had facewear additions, it was more than the only one shown in patch notes.

I am glad we're getting the eyepatches already, hope they keep adding to it
